Be fair Johnny, you were rubbishing all the reports that JM didn't fancy Mata and that Lukaku was going out on loan last summer too.

The whole contract situation with Courtois is fairly logical. I'd be surprised if he was happy to extend his deal with you unless he was made your number 1. It makes no sense for him to tie himself down with so much uncertainty about his future.

I rubbish any reports that contain words like "sources close to", "believed to be" etc.
If an article or report has genuine info from people who are involved then I try to look in to as much as is available in the public domain before forming an opinion on it, unless I'm just taking the **** on here of coure.
Logic holds no weight, as his future is not solely up to him.
If he's better than Cech or if they can somehow agree to share the 60+ games we have per season then he'll be here.
Cech has previously said that he may not be far from retirement due to his injury too don't forget.

As a replacement for Senderos. Those are some small shoes he's being asked to fill - hope he can handle the pressure.
 
Apparently Larnell Cole & Ryan Tunnicliffe are close to completion. Seems Utd were fairly set on keeping Cole, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Only seen Tunnicliffe play once, so no idea what both would offer should they join!

Haha, as someone on twitter said, it'd like replacing your 1996 Vauxhall Corsa with the 1997 model.

Actually very happy with Heitinga, it's more he's replaced Hughes than Senderos. Think Burn has replaced Senderos really.

I'd be shocked if you rotated the 2 keepers and Courtois decision on signing a new contract is solely up to him.

I have no idea whether Chelsea will try to pressure him into signing a new deal, I just mentioned what's being reported. However I do believe that you've got a decision on your hands this summer regarding your keeper. I can't see him extending unless he's made number 1 and I can't see you not selling him if he doesn't extend.

I hope we do, he's a great little player and deserves a chance.

Tunicliffe is a tough tackling midfielder, some times too tough.
