Some ppl need to chill out, its GD. OP should know we also like to have a little fun in between the advice so knew what to expect plus he deserves all he gets for writing paedo the american way (unless of course he was refering to the first floor being the ground floor in which case its allowed)

Eh?
I gave the girl her iPad as she asked for it. Then explained what i did and the guarantee that comes from myself. My "contract" for the repair was with her.
I delt with her father as the person who was paying for the repair and i also explained the same to him before he exploded.

so why did you invite her to her house for a candle lit dinner, thats the part i don't understand

Amazing... :')

Do you still think it was a good idea to tell a 15 year old girl that she can pick her "repaired device" up from your home?

Report the theft and mention the aggrevating circumstances, as someone else already suggested, but you did set yourself up for it slightly OP. You don't know how different people react to different things so you have to play it safe.

How was i to know she was 15?? I didnt find out till her father shouted it at me

I find it odd that anyone thinks that picking it up from his house is a strange thing. It wasn't a business deal with the shop, he just happened to encounter his customer by unusual means, being at his employer's place of business.

If anything I find it stranger that he was handling devices on his employer's property.

Lastly, if the OP had told the young girl to come alone, I could understand the Dad having a problem. As it is, he was paying so I would think the OP would have expected the Dad to show up with the girl at his place, pay for the repair and for them both to leave with the device.

OP has done nothing wrong, is not naive, was not 'setting himself up' and was not dealt with fairly. OP's customer's Dad was out of order, has committed theft and slander and is rightly going to be reported for it.

Thanks, nice to see someone can see my side.

e : Gilly, for context : every single post the OP has ever made.

Whilst this may be true, I have learned over time that this is not the way to mod this place, and a fresh outlook on each thread is needed.

Challenging at times, but needed nevertheless.

You are the hero that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
