*** The Official HTC One M8 Thread ***

To be honest the specs of the camera don't bother me that much, it just has to be a notable improvement on the original HTC One, as it wasn't great.

I'm sure it won't be the exact same camera hardware, surely...

As long as it's great for normal use, normal folks won't really mind. It does need to be a good step up from the original HO however. I'm just hoping this duos camera really does help...

Other than the fact it's made aluminum, it's shiny and has stereo speakers I'm struggling to think of anything this has over the Galaxy S5, yet I can think of allot of features the Galaxy S5 has over this.

I think I understand the mindset for HTC and Samsung users now, Samsung users buy for the specs and features while HTC users buy devices because they're shiny metal. :D

Or some users don't care about gimmicky crap being put on their phones. Although those 2 cameras are a gimmick. The camera really doesn't bother me at all I don't care for taking photos on phone cameras.

All these Sense 6 apps! And under the HTC Gallery description...

Seems a GPe has been confirmed too. The fact that some of these apps are avaliable for GPe versions makes it tempting to flash the GPe ROM...

You will miss out on the Camera software if you move over to GPe, Again if you don't really care about gimmicky crap cameras then GPe will be fine.

Oh I agree allot of the features on the Galaxy S5 are gimmicks, but the camera with isocell technology isn't of them.
