The maps were awesome. Excluding Nuke Town.
There was only Jungle, Launch and Nuke Town that I don't like out of that list.
Getting slightly off topic here!
it didn't do nearly as well. Down 19% on Black Ops2 and down 36% on MW3.
They blamed the poor sales on the cross platform aspect of having both a last gen and current gen version.

Apart from the fact they were all small, cluster ***** of maps, I agree there was nothing wrong with them
The first map pack had some excellent maps however.

We play a bit of Pavlov at lans, small player count makes for really tense encounters
6 v 6 search and destroy was so tense on pavlov, my favorite was always brecourt as I could rifle whore on it (which ironically was remade as a map on Modern Warfare 2, I couldn't believe it when I first loaded it up, they called it something different though)
I was part of a fair few clans, I shudder to think about the hours Xfire will have logged against me playing Cod 1.
I miss the S/D clan nature in modern console based FPS shooters, people are to impatient to wait 2 minutes to re-spawn these days

COD needs to get some of the fun back. They really need to sort something about Quick Scopers. They are trying to do that with some of the DLC which in my opinions is a very good idea. Not having played it, the Predator looks fantastic really and these are the things that they should be bringing in across the board. The Killstreaks on ghosts are also pretty poor and honestly not really worth getting.
This is my opinions though but a lot agree with me. I don't think any of my mates are still playing it. They have either gone back to an older game or are playing Titanfall. Yes it has some of the same flaws as ghosts has but seems to be more fun!

They need to do away with QS period.
I hate hearing 'sniper' lines of sights in the promo videos for new map packs, they just appeal to the lowest common denominator (kids) now and that's where the series will stay.
Even Treyarch went that way, at least they had league play, Ghosts was a massive step backwards in all areas except sound design.

I was disappointed that Treyarch left QSing in BO2. One of the best things about BO was the lack of people running using a sniper like a shotgun.
People say if they got rid of QSing then they'd lose money because all the kids wouldn't buy the game. But if the kids went the all the mature players would buy the game instead.

You need small maps with 6v6, we have seen in ghost that bigger maps don't work with only 6v6.
They work fine if people move about. It's when people start camping that big maps don't work. I prefer medium sized maps anyway.
I'd love to see them go back to the basics, get that bang on, the stuff that made COD4 good, even on a new engine if they have to then maybe add some more "interesting" features in later as DLC.
I've had a couple of goes on ghosts and it just feels horrid to me to play - can't really describe it but the movement feels a bit lumpy and restricted almost like your playing a console game even though you have a keyboard and mouse for input.
