Don't forget fusion.
Don't forget fusion.
Don't forget fusion.
Spot on.
I noticed a new development going up near where I live a few weeks back. I called the builders and asked what the pricing was for a 3-bed semi, only to be told that they were all sold before even a single spade had been put in the ground. Mainly to investors and buy-to-let folk.
Even with help to buy it's nigh on impossible to get a mortgage for a sufficient amount.
As it's a direct result of carny and osbourne's policies I guess about 6 months after the GE before the bubble bursts, if all goes according to plan.
This what happens when you let any silly sod in to the UK. And the more that come here the less homes for you

All these lot want to come here which I don't understand. What could they possibly want![]()
The West have had their industrial revolution now its the turn of the East. If the world is to do anything seriously about climate change newer modern energy technology needs to be made available to new developing powers such as China and India. Much more need to be done in terms of subsidies and joint ventures.
Probably a job at a guess, or a better life.
Either way illegal immigrants are not the source of the demand that makes 3 bed houses almost half a mil!
In what way? Seriously, where does this rubbish come from? They are credible because?...
The other problem with help to buy schemes is they push the price of houses up further & further.
This government (along with the last) has done nothing of use to actually resolve this social problem - mostly for the reason that it would be to the detriment of large scale home-owners with huge buy to let portfolios (also many older voters who would stand to lose some value in their house).
A house should not be a commodity to be traded, it's a finite resource which is needed.
We can just grow more or import food.Just like food...
We can just grow more or import food.
We can't really do the same for houses, neither do you have to grow food within a reasonable distance of popular work locations. So sadly not really that much like food.
