Chances of UKIP winning General Election?

Is there even a touch of irony in this statement? What if China or Japan don't want you - in the same way that you apparently don't want (some) immigrants? It's rare that people see themselves as the problem, they tend to think it's others who are causing the issues so while you may think of yourself as a ray of sunshine who China or Japan should be delighted to receive* that's not necessarily how it will be viewed by them.

* for all I know those countries would welcome you with open arms but equally they may not and for very similar reasons as to why you might say you're against immigration.

The MASSIVE difference is me and my girlfriend are highly skilled workers that most countries would welcome with open arms because i would be a benefit to whichever country i go to and not scrounge benefits from. My company has just opened an office in Shanghai and my girlfriend being Chinese makes it dead easy to move there.

LOL at everyone reacting to my post :p no it's not hypocritical because i have absolutely no problem with highly skilled workers coming to the UK, no matter what country they come from, like i have said countless times.

But that's not what you said there - you stated that if the country became a '"multi-cultural" hell hole' that you'd be leaving. There wasn't anything to suggest that the skill levels had a bearing on your decision and it is still odd that to solve a perceived problem with immigration your solution is to become an immigrant in another country.

Also you might not intentionally go to another country and not be able to work but through circumstances you might not be able to find a suitable job - would that make you a scrounger in your terms or just unlucky for that period?

B. Threaten to emigrate to another far off country, should immigration continue in this country?

I. Don't. Get. What. The. Hell. Is. Happening. Here.

What if things get so bad here that it's actually better somewhere else? A bit selfish maybe but ****-it i'm looking out for number 1. In my case might never happen but China and Japan have very tight immigration controls and doesn't let anyone in willy-nilly without being a benefit to the country. My experience of Main Land China was a real eye-opener and everyone seemed so much happier there. The only place that has problems is in the Xinjiang province where guess what? Yeah there are more than one culture.

Decades down the line the way the West is going it seems like we're going to end up with an even more repressive regimes then the far east!!

Bullying != Racism

Calling you a limey != calling a black person a ******

Same thing people trying to wind up other people .

Distcrimination is discrimination, but it's a little bit different when we're talking about the persecution of black and brown people!

No. We're talking about UKIP and people like you with a agenda turn it in to something else. You sound like jesse Jackson to me.

What i meant was if the whole country went to pot like areas where there is extreme racial tension where unemployed unskilled immigrates and asylum seekers are just dumped on mass on an unsuspecting populous, there are dozens of examples of this all over the news in the last few years, i posted one a couple of pages back, i thought that was clear in my original post but obviously i have to spell out to everyone. And for the rest i refer you to post #463

Unlike what some would think, what if Romanians move in next door to me? Same as Germans, French, Chinese, Ugandan or Pakistani. If they are there to work and pay tax and respect the rest of the street and not make nuisance of themselves i would welcome them with open arms

Certainly wouldn't go to another country without a job offer. And as far as i'm aware China and Japan doesn't have a welfare system to the same level as the UK, and i certainly wouldn't stick around if i was jobless

The main reason we are getting an influx is that there is still this perceived image the UK is paved with Gold. It's a myth we have knock on the head with, we have to get the message out to the rest of the world that it's not as great as they are being lead to believe

All Hail President BLAIR for Eu.

In a move interpreted by some as a job application, the former prime minister said the EU could do with a strong leader approved by the people.

Think only 2 links are running this Late aprils fools.

I really hope he does get the job, because it will certainly make everyone vote UKIP to get the hell out of Europe as fast as humanly possible.

I can't begrudge anyone looking out for #1, they would be daft not to in my book. I can't comment on China though, have you travelled most of China and experienced most of it's provinces?

It isn't the same thing as trying to wind someone up at all. I understand if you are talking of a playful scenario amongst friends, just like in that I have non-white friends who I would exchange banter with based on our skin colour, "hey you white trash honky!", "what's up darkie?". But that is always conducted with the deep understanding of one another that we're not offended and we share the common concept that we should make joke of our unimportant differences. Does this mean I'd say the same kind of thing to a black man who I don't know and claim he should get over it as I'm just winding him up, or he should "just ignore the bully"? ...No. By calling him as such he would likely feel degraded and sub-human. You are essentially stripping people of their worth. You must see the difference? You really can't be justifying racial abuse, right?

Alas, you brought up the discussion about Americans calling you a "Limey" in the UKIP discussion thread, so it would be wrong of you to infer otherwise ;)

OK.

"UK 'threatens to quit EU over presidency' - Der Spiegel" from the BBC
Just do it. NOW.

Not as much as i like, it's a big ass country so i'm just about half way there and mostly stuck to the cities. I actually prefer main land to Hong Kong, which is a bit of a dump with ex-pats clogging the streets drinking until they can't walk in the evenings and pick-pockets from Thailand trying to put there hand in every 5 mins.

South is the best and Soooo beautiful, i adore Sanya and Hainan. Beijing and Shanghai are great but the smog can be a problem on some days, but not as bad as the West would have you believe. They really play it up on TV over here. Harbin for the best looking girls, if you like the tall slim model types (an ex of mine was from there and was ridiculously hot, sucks i didn't try hard enough to make it work, a little bit my fault to be honest). And then there's Guangdong where my girlfriend is from a small village outside of the main city, never have i felt so disconnected from modern life! It was awesome no internet for 5 days, first 2 was getting withdrawal symptoms, but i was actually liking it on the 3rd day :p

I probably won't go to the Xinjiang province ever as there's nothing for me over there and tensions are really high

Yes and slavery was the ultimate windup.

I only hope that you are not very bright as that would at least provide you some sort of excuse.

You do know that the brits was put in to slavery at one time?
I think most nations was made slaves of one time or another.
Sounds like you've got a log on your shoulder. Grow up.

So are you basically saying everything is fine and "they" should just "get over it"?

You're doing a decent job of proving the hypothesis that UKIP supporters as well as their employees are for the most part racists.

"Grow Up"

Your favourite way to end many of your posts. You post it so often I have began to notice and it actually makes me cringe.

Oh no doubt the majority of UKIP voters are NOT racist. UKIP certainly attracts many a racist vote though, and I'd dare say douche is very much the racist.

Careful now, he'll be uspet for being called names (a racist).

You mean like all other nations that was in slavery have got over it?
Or do you want me to start cursing the romans and Vikings?

It was in 1833 it stopped here. So you think it needs more then 180+ years to get over it?
how long 1000? 2000? 3000 years?
