What a great idea, let's help those who practice homosexuality but feel uncomfortable with it, therapy could be the answer for some of those who feel uncomfortable with same sex couples but are engaging in unnatural activities, if therapy can help them achieve satisfaction in a heterosexual relationship then that's great, after all, nature intended for our species to reproduce, something same sex couples could never do. You know, despite it's faults UKIP makes more and more sense, I have issues with some other UKIP polices but they are becoming more and more attractive, I wasn't sure to vote for them in the General Election but I'm not so sure whether not to now.

The funny thing is, if you read that (as I just did) without any anti-UKIP bias, it doesn't appear to be anti-gay at all?

It seems like quite a moderate live and let live attitude?

I'm really confused as to how those comments could be seen as homophobic. Honestly I know it's 2014 and all, but it seems that these days unless you go round wearing a t-shirt which says "I love penis", you must be homophobic?

saying that a same sex relationship doesn't deserve the same respect as a man/woman relationship is a bit anti gay.

Would you say it wasn't a bit racist to say an interracial relationship doesn't deserve the same respect as a same race relationship (heh interesting how the bias even in my own head is to equate same sex with mix race in that comparison, not same race)

The best way to take something down is to take over it - with so many eurosceptic MEPs in the EU now they can really move things their way with votes etc.

I'll believe that when I see it. UKIP members don't even have a consistent party line. Their members' votes are all over the place, they can't actually agree on what to vote for and what to vote against.

Race and sexual preference are too different in this regard, his lack of respect for same sex marriages comes from the procreation argument.

I do love how bad things are never god's will, even though he moves in mysterious ways. In fact, I am pretty sure that religious people who turn out to be sterile would sooner put it down to the mysterious ways angle, rather than it being random bad luck/nature/Beelzebub.

My point was to the fact it was something occuring naturally, not by some "higher power" - I do not believe in such a thing, however I felt it easier to get my point across by simply saying 'God'... I guess I was wrong.
