*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

I've got to be fair to samsung, I had to send mine back about 2 months ago when the wifi chip packed up. Got the bag sent out, must have been with them about 7-9 days and then I received it back. That was with the Knox warranty bit 0x1.

Just had to send it it off with the bank for a smashed screen, but £30 I can't complain!
 
Urgh, flashed my phone to the latest modem and now I have lost sound. Flashed the wifi-fix file and there is still now sound
 
My S4 screen packed in a couple of weeks back 29/04/14. Called Samsung straight away, finally got a jiffy bag in the post, sent off on 07/05/14. Heard nothing, checked the online status several times, just said "Acknologed" - left for the 10 working days they require. Checked status online again - "Cancelled". Call them.....

Samsung: I'm sorry we don't have a postcode on your account, so we need to put it through the service system all over again......

What? I gave you my postcode when you delivered the jiffy bag....

Samsung: Nope, we don't have your post code.

Can you at least tell me anything about my phone? Where is it? What's wrong with it?

Samsung: Nope, I can't tell you, it'll be 7-10 working days....

Do you have my contact number and email address?

Samsung: Yes.

Why did no-one tell me about the postcode problem?

Samsung: I don't know.

I've about had my fill of Samsung. They can stuff me buying another phone off them!

The sega continues. Called today for a progress report.....

Gives them the ticket number

Samsung: Oh, that ticket number is blank.

Great. So what's happening with my phone?

Samsung: We don't know.

Fantastic.

Samsung: We'll get an escalations team on it. We'll call you in 2-3 days.

surely you can take them to a small claims court? how do these companies get away with this.. they expect you to go without a smartphone that has cost you close to half a grand for weeks/months as though its no big deal?
 
What do I need to put my phone back to stock, this include KNOX loader aswell?

Currently running Echoe on AEL loader but fed up with little quirks which make the phone unusable. Just want to go completely stock and leave it there.

My S4 is the best phone I've had. But the one thing the Apple Tax gets you is good customer service. Walk into a store and they'd have swapped in on the spot.

Samsung with their retail push really need to match this.

What is the most stable TW rom at the moment? I've been out of the flashing scene, and have itch to flash a new rom. Current on foxhound jellybean.

You can't go wrong with Omega (though it's been a while since I last used this) and Goldeneye which I currently use now and love.
