What I don't get it is why spend a whole episode on the Wall when it's obvious (not read the books) that it'll be a walk over for the Wildlings?

Sigh... shame the wall battle was so glossed over, but all in all I liked the finale. GoT is at its best when focussing on the small-scale character interactions performed by an outstanding ensemble cast, and that's we got. Roll on Season 5...

the hound was a **** but had grown into one of my favourite characters, what an undignified end ...... or is it

not a great episode but good under the circumstances considering how much they had to catch up on, so much happened in that episode. loved the jason and the arganauts/lord of the rings feel too.

anyone know when it's back?

Great episode imo, so good seeing tyrion murder shay... also gutted the hound could be dead.. was one of my faves.. but its not confirmed so u never know!!! What an earth is daenerys doing leaving the dragons tho? to die? or? silly, regardless if theyre murdering everything or not.

I thought it was an excellent episode considering everything they had to fit in. The changes from the books didn't bother me that much at all.

Good episode, wasn't one of the best but sets it up for an excellent series 5.

Where does this tie in with the books now? Has the end of series 4 coincided with the end of one of the books?

Thought it was a good episode, couple of dodgy moments (mostly the stuff with Daenerys as that seems really flat and switches the pace/flow in a bit of a jarring way) and it was a little whacky at times but overall really enjoyed it.

Not sure if thats it for the hound or not but would be sorry to see him go as well.
