** ASUS ROG SWIFT G-SYNC 27" 144Hz GAMING MONITOR NOW IN STOCK!! **

True, DELL 30" is still £1000 and is 60Hz, does not had 3D or G-Sync.

Guys you are selling 4K TN panels for £480, to be honest that excites me more, 29" superwides IPS for £260 that really excites me, once the bleeding is fixed, so Asus can keep their 1440p 144Hz G-sync whatever TN monitor for £700 plus. :p:D

If only the 4k screens could also run a perfect 1080p picture, that would allow us to run newer games fine and switch to 4k for the ones that run well also, but i assume all 4k monitors below native will look bad as with any other lcd.

Price is daft, but it's nice to see this kind of spec coming out. Will there be a 24" version coming out?

no, wait for freesync. What OCUK are doing is what the Duke Brothers were trying to do in Changing Places. Despicable practice.

How exactly?

From the word go I said their might be competitors as cheap as £669, I was right there is one now. I did not need to be honest and upfront and say that you might be able to find them as cheap as £669, I did inform customers of this and it is true.

It is no secret the stock is very limited and selling very well, we have about 10 units left now from the first batch we are expecting.

We are also not holding a gun to anyones head saying you must buy from us, there are competitors who you can also buy from.

I don't see why.

It should just light up a square of 4 pixels instead of 1.

Limited amount with high demand = high price. It's pretty standard for most things.

They will get cheaper as alternatives arrive.

They could charge 2k if they wanted, it's the only monitor of it's spec on the market, I just find the price laughable as they're just trying to take advantage of early sales.

Call me bitter or whatever, I was thinking if this is closer to £400 than £1000 then I'd pick one up as it's the kind of monitor I want. I just won't be one of the early customers.

Gibbo said it wont be sub £600 any time soon.

No text distortion, etc. on my 4K panel when running 1920x instead of 3840x unlike other combinations of resolution where 2 lines the same width can appear different sizes depending on how they are scaled, seems to be some very slight softening of the image but otherwise is very close to being perfect.

Will you have any of these monitors set up in your shop in the next couple of months? Might be going there and it would be cool to try the Swift out :)

We hope to do a NVIDIA day in our shop yes in the future with G-Sync as one of the technologies on display. :)
