Can't see send us the link

That was from the link - like I said, I'm trying to 'adapt' to flickr. For whatever reason I can't find the html link for the larger pics. But anyway, that screen capture was when I first bought the player - by 27 he was incredible. Scoring 60 odd goals per season. His attributes were right off the chart, and his aerial domination was something to behold. I recall, there were two players who were major playmakers. One chap had a 19 throw (with long flat bullet throw) and with my striker waiting in the 6 yard box almost all my throws resulted in goals. It was something else and I've never been able to repeat it.

The club is only young so the ground will be too. I will have to invest in a new stadium at some point but obviously until I have the money in the bank the board are not prepared to even offer me the option.

I was very shrewd for several seasons when I was going up through the leagues. That's how I have been able to get so far now. I would only spend the tiniest amounts on players as most were free transfers, like that uber AMC above. As Dover, they had very little money. But I also got very lucky - I got a striker for next to nothing in League 2, developed him and sold him on for a £25 million profit when I reached the BPL. That gave me a formidable grounding and allowed me to speculate when I reached the Premier League.

I also developed my training and youth facilities early. I spent £35 million this season on players, which has bolstered my team no end. I am still using the older English home-growns too, even though they aren't really that good. I think a few may retire next season, so I will have to develop my younger ones. I have a 17 year old world class potential english striker in the reserves who will be home grown in two seasons. Plus 3 other good potential on loan who are trained in nation.

Yeah I haven't spent a penny on a player yet except signing bonuses, no real need to, always a freebie to be had.

Good luck with your new stadium, I just went fully seated, 5k, really do need to get the facilities improved, board won't have it :D

That's a massive sale! well done, most ive been paid so far is about £600k.

What do they pay you? I'm still only on £1.9k a week lol, the board were doing me over for a while, offering me new contracts before my yearly raises, promo raise etc were given, sneaky! so now I wait for real end of season.

Ive got a new stadium underway. 25k seats apparently. Will take 3 years to build. They pay me £60k per week now ;) I just lost a major player because I forgot to renew his contract and remove the pesky release clause. He went for £14.5 million but he was worth £35 million. Doh!

Gutting. Despite wining the league, getting to the Champions League final and making a profit of about £40m. The Liverpool board only gave me £25 Mil to spend, I bought a CB for £17 then I must have had quite a few other payments to pay as I now only have £2 Mill. I still need a new FB as well.

Madrid Board will still not expand Bernabeu or build a new Stadium :( stuck at 95,000 capacity. Even if it does let me ask, they say they don't have the financial means to build a new stadium. Maybe they should stop increasing my transfer budget then, £500m is more than enough

awesome, hopefully you can expand it too!

Video blogs for FM15 must be coming up soon? I got bored of Man utd save after winning everything, and can't really click with another low league team the same way as I did with Cambridge. Maybe after 720 hours I'm finally burnt out! :(

Na, not burnt out - just needing a day off :D

I just cannot win the BPL as Dover. I've finished 2nd 3 times in a row now :(

- Won League 2
- Won the St. Johnstone's Pain Trophy
- Got Promoted

- Bought a bunch of players on a free. team should be good enough for top half.
- Doing terrible. Sit in relegation places after 23 games.
- Not even sure why. The team is good on paper. My tactics should be good. I arranged my backroom staff. I have no idea...

Stuff like this ****es me off though.

From 3-1 to 3-3 with this goal...at that time.

You might not believe me, but more than once have I gotten my goals chalked off for offside. 80% of the times they were right, but some times they **** me off by calling off a perfectly good goal.

I am experiencing the offsides a lot as well. Very frustrating. Does it happen more when your players are trained to beat the offside trap though? I don't know.

No idea to be honest. I play my defence to play the offside thing. now that you are thinking about it, I may remove it.

Conolly scored 35+ goals last season, and he was 36! He is not 37, and had a small injury (1.5/2* ability) and he has racked about 15 goals already after half the season. Unfortunately (or fortunately) he had an automatic extension in his contract, so I have to keep his 2k/w wage for another year.

Once again, a bad offside call against me.

St. Johnstone's Pain Trophy final. I was down to 10 men, and with 5 minutes remaining I scored. It got called off for offside. As you can see, it was obviously onside. managed to win in extra time though, so **** you ref!

Season ended ok... I managed to get out of relegation, but I didn't do as good as I thought I wood come the start of the season. I lost some stupid points even in the second half of the season. I ended up finishing 14th, with one of the best attacks, and one of the worst defences.

Finances ain't good, so I had to start offloading some players and gettins some £££. First up was Simon Ferry. he is quite a good player, but he didn't want to renew his contract. Selling him for £300k sounded good. His replacement (Fox) is just as good, and free.

For this season, I will be trying to push for the play off spots whilst spending as little money as possible. I really wanted to keep much of the team intact (no time for bonding) but then again I had to sell.

I decided to sell one of my wonderkids for £4.1M to Celtic. He was average with a lot of potential. I couldn't not accept the offer though. £4M would really help the club, and he was valued at just £40k before selling him.

I sold some more players (for example Wes Fogden) for a total of £750k. I nearly racked up £5M in transfers, so I am quite happy.

After these deals, I get this mail

£12.8M profit! LIFE SAVING! So now I have £1M to spend (hopefully I will spend very little) and some wage budget. Hopefully I can push for promotion.

Do players still do really crazy things and get bans any more? I remember playing Championship Manager 2001 and in a game against Tottenham Mauricio Taricco punched the ref. I think that he got a 6 month ban for it.

LOL.. punching the ref?? Damn never seen anything like that but I've only been playing since 2013. I had a player throw a fit on the pitch when a penalty was awarded against him, and that was quite funny. He had argue with officials as a player preferred move too so it was even better. Lucky he wasn't sent off, but his gesticulating was hilarious.
