Boeing 777 shot down

I am not sure how easy it is too make a mistake with such modern weapons. Don't they have radar and the ability to identify targets from the ground? I would have thought that they could open a line of communication these days and at least identity that it is a commercial airline? It just seems careless rather than a mistake, just shooting at anything in the air.

It's a person that presses the button and they screwed up.

Why else would you mention Malaysia specifically? I didn't suggest somebody was going to invade Russia, I just felt it prudent to put a bit of context in and explain why it's far from just a Malaysian issue, that's all. Lots of Europeans would use Malaysian Airlines to travel to the Far East and Australia - I've done it myself!

It matters not - I've no appetite to continually argue over it with you.

Because it is a Maylasian plane? Is that not obvious? Should I have said Fiji instead because it was going that direction?

Eh, you are the one quoted me to begin with!

Why would either side do this? Why would they consider it a target? Purely to then blame the other side for it?

The Russians supplied the rebels with weapons but they were afraid to do more due to international pressure. Guess what happens when you give advanced weaponry to lunatics? They shoot at anything that moves.

It's all very bizarre and very very sad.

What i find odd and perhaps slightly conspiracy theorist, is that the same airline lost a plane and then a few months later flies over a war zone after some recently imposed sanctions and gets shot down. Instantly there is official / media efforts to push blame on anti-EU republics such as Donetsk and Russia.

Was the first plane loss some kind of test to see if airline comms / tracking can easily be "lost"? I doubt it, but it's all incredibly bizarre and can't see any benefits in shooting innocent people unless it was a A) a mistake [really hope this and someone owns up for the better of millions] or B) a final action to trigger political movements.

why would Ukraine shoot a plane down that already entered their airspace and flew over most of the country?

Why would the rebels shoot a plane down flying towards them and over them?

Why would russia shoot a plane heading towards their border with 12,000 troops on it?

ukraine seems like the least likely.

rebels might not have the capability but if they do it was given to them from russia like a lot of the other gear the rebels have

The rebels are Ukrainian not Russian. If the rebels shot it down that would mean it was shot down by Ukraine.

This was a passenger plane, don't know where 12,000 troops came from.

I doubt they will have given satellite / movement tracking weapon access. That'd be a huge security breach for such a secretive nation

well I'll put my conspiry theorist hat on here.. You could say staged false flag to enrage the already destable middle east maybe? I wonder how public opinion is trying to be affected.

and hat off.

But seriously this is no laughing matter, this is going to turn real bad.

It never ceases to amaze me how pathetic some of the conspiracy theories are but this one takes the biscuit.

Why would a nation shoot down a Mayalsian aircraft full of European citizens whilst flying over Europe in order to destabilise the Middle East?!

False false flag.

Raising them to a new level.
