postman just posted Royal Mail card they cant deliver until i pay 25.71 custom charge, some of you guys didnt get any charges can i dispute this and why have i been charged custom.

You shouldn't be paying custom duty, just vat and a RM fee.

dont know what to do shall i just pay it or can i get away without paying the charges, what shall i say when i go to RM, should I show them the Massdrop transaction invoice.

If you get caught you get caught you'll just have to pay up, it's still a lot cheaper than it would be buying them from Amazon or wherever.

Usually because they don't check items under £100 I think it is, you've just been unlucky and they've checked yours.

Could be worse, if I get stung with customs and redilivery I will bring them up to about £145 maybe more if massdrop are charged for returning it and I have to cover that too!

Pretty much what he said.

I think the real value is something like anything over £45 and you need to pay but they usually have to deal with so many they let a lot under 3 figures through, anything 3 figures and above gets done every time

Well that's the chance you take when you order, I doubt many of you will get stung by customs.

just finished talking to custom and they said i was unlucky and that the charge seems wright for total cost i payed

Even with the customs charge they are still cheaper than buying from rainforest place. Still a good deal imo.

Could those of you getting charged extra not just sell them on? I'm sure there will be people willing to take them off your hands at that price.

just got back from paying the custom charges at Royal Mail 25.71.

i think the first batch of orders never got checked because of the low value but the 2nd batch got checked due to the amount of boxes from Massdrop ^^
