*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

Not actually sure what im doing, ive just basically played where the game put me from starting it up, but how come i have like 3 people in my game and then i get to the boss and have to take him on, by myself everytime and at the end it just shows my stats nobody elses? ive done 2 missions/bosses both on hard and done them both by myself both only just without dieng once.. whats the deal with the other players/randoms?

If it's a story mission you need people in your fireteam to have them help you out, if it's a mission you start whilst free roaming, or a public event, people will be able to help you kill the baddies.
 
LE just arrived from amazon... has 48 hour delivery though. That's not first class... (I think? xD), least I got it today I guess.

No critic reviews posted yet but it seems to be a marmite game, people either loving it or hating it on Meta. Common complaint seems to be boring, waves of enemies which respawn, common quests sending you back to same places and fighting same enemies to find an item.

I did think this whilst playing the Beta. Still.... How many of those people have only played the game for a few hours. I say judge for yourself.

I for one doubt I'll like it that much. May still purchase though... Just not expecting anything epic.

But the thing is that it what the game is about being a borderlands type of game/ MMO

I for one love what I have played so far
