Levelling up a seasonal-sader and I'm pretty sure I just dropped down from a Falling Sword directly into an elite's wormhole...Confused the hell out of me, took a while before I figured out why I was all the way off the other side of the map!

After a very extended time away I thought I would fire this up again, however I seem to find it nearly impossible to actually get into the game to play. 99% of the time I get into the start char screen click on resume game and then get a window saying 'Network Disconnect the game connection has been lost' reading through some Blizzard forums and I see this happening to a lot of people but no real answer, the closet I got was to disable vsync, set foreground FPS to 60, sound to stereo, and that would occasionally get me in.

Once the game has actually started I have no issues jumping around to different scenes etc, but leaving the game (even just back to the char selection screen) and then trying to start again causes the same problem.

Anyone else have this or knows of a fix for it?

Cheers,

Finally got Maras boots, bad roll but nvm, onto gambling for Bombadiers rucksack!

How the heck are you all kitted up already :D Some nice gear you have, just starting to make a little headway myself but no where near you pace.

Can someone give this the once over please? Just seems a bit weak, not played my crusader for a while so needs bringing up to speed in 2.1.

Some really great gear, but the reason it seems weak may be that any fire/fist of the heavens build really relies on Firestarter stacks (especially with furnace on bosses). Since you are running EoP you are missing out on a massive amount of fire damage.

The best crusader builds these days are Lord Commander build (you can use your Furnace running this), holy shotgun still and the Condemn build (in seasons only - seasonal shield).

Lord Commander is a physical damage build that uses a new Crusader shield called Unrelenting Phalanx (casts phalanx twice) using the Stampede skill rune. You could build towards this with your Furnace (there is also a pet variant using Baleful Remnant/Eternal Union ring).

You also need to get some of the legendary gems slotted in the appropriate gear.

Doesn't look like you have anywhere near enough CDR either to run effective Akkhan uptime, so maybe look at getting a Leorics Crown and Vigilante belt, and a RORG since they're quite fast to farm these days with some CDR on it.

You are also packing a huge amount of strength it looks like. Maybe swap out some red gems for some diamonds or purples to get a bit more tankiness. You'll appreciate it in advanced grifts.

Personally I go with Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Powerful and Zei's Stone of Vengeance, although the poison gem would work well too (probably instead of powerful).

If running the pet sader build then get the pet gem in somewhere.

My 1H + Mojo combo didn't have any Vitality so no different. The only thing I'm missing is the 20 yard amplification range on Grave Injustice provided by ToTD which then means I can spirit walk / harvest more often. Harvesting without Spirit Walk above GR31-32 is largely suicidal.

My ToTD didn't roll that well so I had to butcher it - it has good damage on it and 10% crit but rolled mana regen and a useless skill so I had to re-roll the skill to Haunt. Ideally the mana regen would have been CDR or vitality...

I die a lot in higher greater rifts but I put most of the deaths down to my bad play. I kind of switch off a little in them as let's be honest they aren't the most exhilirating things in the world. I also get bored dotting and then running away and hiding in the next room while Spirit Walk / Soul Harvest gets ready so I end up going ninja mode to try and proc Grave Injustice some more (by being close while white mobs die) which of course means more danger and more death. When I get it right thought it's fun because I can just chain between packs.

Torment 6 is face roll. Even 2 player versions of Torment 6 with just me fighting is pretty easy.

My latest thinking is that a perfect Sunkeeper (with a Ramaldini box) with ToTD is preferable to The Furnace for higher greater rifts... it's not the normal thinking but the thought process is that with 30% elite damage and a high damage roll on the 1H mace you're looking towards 900m-1.1b harvests on elite and you gain the benefits of the grave injustice range boost from ToTD which then means you can harvest more. If you could harvest safely without Spirit Walk then The Furnace would be better every time but as you can't on higher rift levels the reduction in cooldown of these abilities could end up as more damage overall than The Furnace. One to test I think.

I'd appreciate your critique on my jade build please! Got a sunkeeper last night, haven't equipped it yet, but I'm guessing its a good weapon to use the little socket box drop thing on?

Thanks :)

OMG - thought my decent rolled (2450+) SS build was quite good

but swapped this evening (after looking at leaderboards) to a very average (2150dps) SunKeeper

now managing average critical hits of 80-140m, and nicest I've seen was 250m :)

elites on T6 are just like butter it feels OP really

Kadala was nice to me today, and after thousands of shards, she gave me a near perfect pair of Hexing Pants :D

Thanks Kadala!

I've got a good pair of Mr Yan pants. Also after not a lot of searching I got T&T. And a pretty good one at that!

Yeah ideally you want a high damage roll, 10% damage, intelligence and then 25-30% elite damage. Then use a box on it. Getting all of those to tango is difficult though. Mine is 100 under max damage and only rolled 19% elite damage but I think I've tested enough to confirm that it's probably about even between that and The Furnace harvesting. Close though. TBH I think if you get a better Furnace (mine is average on everything except elite damage) then it probably swings back the way of that.

I've looked around on the web but don't seem to be able to find an answer to this. Does weapon fire damage affect how quickly the Firebird's Finery 6 set bonus ticks up to 3000%?

Anybody got a T6 pet doctor on which they wouldn't mind sharing gear / spec with me? After a gazillon shards on buying helmets I finally got a Jeram but it was from a Rift Guardian so that was a waste of time :D. My T&T (previous page) are so good that I feel obliged to try a pet build even though Jade is really fun...

Also interested in the Grin Reaper build I've seen floating around if anybody has tried this...

Don't have a Starmetal but have pretty much every other 1 hander.

What do you need?

Here is mine

You can switch the spec from poison to fire depending on your gear and elemental build. Only thing to switch is the pants from swamplands to hexing pants if you have it i haven't got enough gems else dps would be higher

For Grims you switch out jerams for Grims and swap the skills to inc spider queen and acid rain. It good but my personal preference is still full pets but the mimics go crazy as well. Definitely try it out too

If you have a Rhen'ho flayer use that with addling toads Rusty. Procs fetishes very well. Hopefully you get a Starmetal soon as it's a game changer for burst dps on elites and really helps group play too.

I got my DH M6 geared yesterday and it's not even funny how easy it is with average gear.
