What "man jobs" have you done today?

Put architrave around 6 doors upstairs today, never done it before. After watching a few videos and getting a couple of tools i set to it, well chuffed with the results.
 
Just replaced the landing ceiling light.

Wife hates it, lol :D. I told her to give it time :(.
 
:p she's actually warmed to it today. Uses one 4.5w led bulb as opposed to the 5 x 40w, which helps.

Neither of us particularly like it tbh. Might see how it looks once we decorate.
 
Busy day doing the bathroom. Hacked off a load of plaster, chopped up the bath, built a stud wall, built a niche in the shower, boarded another wall and tanked the whole lot.
 
Put up a full length mirror on hinges and also put together an Ikea table (and put another mirror up, above the table)
 
Should be just about big enough at 20 x 8. Funny though, as I was building the base, I though I should have extended it a little, to get it down to the corner of the garden.

That's a wasted bit of garden anyway. Only gets the sun in the morning, and rarely gets used for anything. So thought I'd be as well lobbing a big shed in there. Was tempted to make it garage sized, but I already have a double garage, and didn't want to convince myself to buy another car.
 
Continuing decorating my daughters bedroom this weekend, yesterday was yet more painting (walls), and spent the whole of today laying flooring.

Hopefully if I get a chance during the week I can finish off the flooring and fit the skirting boards ready for even more painting (yay!! :( :p)
 
That is a nice shed, but it seems to be taking up most of the garden :eek: or is that just the side?
