February seems unlikely, given that we've not really seen what the game will look like or had any further information aside from that rather expensive statue thing they made.
 
I hope it is a Feb release, I'm in a dry spell for games at the moment. I just can't seem to get excited for any other games right now. Maybe The Division, that looks tasty. But its still a quite a way off.
 
Gearbox are apparently showing it at PAX South (gaming event in Texas 23-25 Jan), playable build up for journalists behind closed doors, but presentation including gameplay video is open to the public.

I'm dubious about them making a Feb release date if they're only just starting to show playable builds, we'll see...

That's a shame ... I was really looking forward to this .... fingers crossed its not too late
 
Its £22.94 - 15% off on steam pre-order atm. Its a good price for two updated classics. I've been watching the PAX twitch this afternoon and as above they confirmed 25th Feb as the release date and showed a short gameplay clip. There's more Homeworld on the PAX stream later this evening, around 9pm. I've already pre-ordered, l loved these games when they first released and I'm looking forward to playing them again. It'll be nice to play some multiplayer as well at some point.

Never played Homeworld 1 but I played number 2, and loved it, it looked so good!

Really looking forward to this coming out.
 
Still a real shame that Cataclysm couldn't have been included, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how they've improved these two.
 
If all they've done is tart it up and improve the UI, im sold.

For me everything else about the original was near perfect.
