So you are saying that standing on thin ice though a single small contact point is as safe as spreading your weight?
Or are you saying it is exactly the same having a tile's entire surface area making contact to the entire wall of a wall the same as 4 bolts?
Or are you saying there are zero horizontal forces place on the bolts? close as they are to the wall, not 100% of the forces are going downwards, since it is away from the wall.
Regardless, the manufacturers have done all the research needed to rate the mounting system suitable for up to a certain weight - otherwise they'd be replacing a lot of people's TVs. Why are you questioning it, unless you know better?
