It's 2 weeks for single card users, probably a month or more for CF.

No point disabling one of the cores on my card to use a 144hz monitor at low frames.

It seems BenQ and OcUK have jumped the gun a little with getting physical stock, so enjoy the monitors for their performance be ready to download the FREESYNC driver on the 19th, so not to long to wait.

In the meantime I shall ask AMD if they can maybe help OcUK with getting a BETA driver. :)

I blame BenQ. I also blame AMD for not being ready to support their own product. Can't say I blame you, you're only trying to turn a buck.

Also only one GPU for starters? sounds to me like the drivers are nowhere near ready and will be buggy as hell. Not exactly a strong start is it?

Nowhere on AMD release notes for 14.12 show freesync.. Therefore it was never in the driver..

But in omegas patch notes it wasn't listed. So it was incorrect reporting from toms etc. If they tested the driver, they would have had the patch notes.

If the panel manufacturers hadn't jumped the gun we would be releasing as expected. That isn't amd's fault. Your eagerness to try and create calamity is ridiculous.

I just can't comprehend how there's dozens and dozens of articles and slides etc with Freesync regarding Omega Driver.

And a full feature list Slide of Omega which lists Freesync.

Am with Gibbo on this.. OCUK only ones with freesync display atm its not AMD fault OCUK released early before its ready..

Am just going to enjoy this display.. Loving 1440p over 1080p its very nice.

100% agree, buys a 295, then a half grand monitor and it has zero freesync support...

Great way to entice someone that was sitting on Nvidia to have a great experience, 'Hi welcome to AMD, hope you enjoy your experience'.

They contained Freesync slides with an announcement saying Q1 2015.

No that isn't an apologetic stance towards AMD btw.

What is indefensible is how long have they had to get the driver ready, it's not as if they have been pumping out loads of drivers.

Are you meant to sit in hope CrossFire support will arrive in April?

Sounds awfully like no new AMD driver for a fortnight either.

Is Trigger running AMD???
 
I've went to first page on AMD Drivers, Matt's post hasn't been edited since a day after it was created.

I'll let them off with the Freesync thing, he hasn't got it mentioned.
But AMD never came forward to correct the dozens and dozens of "Freesync is included" articles.

It's still a crap situation though.

Enjoy your display. It's undoubtedly a great screen and if you don't mind waiting then knock yourself out.

The fact remains that various tech sites haven't pulled out the FreeSync stuff from thin air. As it was so widely reported by, like everyone, I'm sure AMD would have issued a correction if it was wrong.

Yeah I've being pushing for FREESYNC like crazy, why do you think OcUK was first to market with Acer, LG and with BenQ in stock.

I made the assumption as others here had done FREESYNC was already present in the Omega drivers, it is why I got one yesterday to play with and it was last night I was like oh, so where is FREESYNC option in drivers, spoke with the execs in USA and they told me that the launch date is not 19th and enquired as to hell on earth I'd got stock so early. We know the answer to that, I am amazing. :D ;)

I am pushing hard now to try bring the launch forward and although I am amazing we might just have to wait 14 days until we can play. :)
