** THE FIRST FREESYNC MONITOR ARRIVES AT OcUK!! **

Possibly not the monitor at fault. Could be a driver problem.

Yeah..

No big deal for now so long its not the display am happy to keep using 120hz for now..

1080p 144hz works fine.

Swifts had the same problems. The screens were a bit flaky at 144 Hz at 1440. 120 - 144 is not really very noticeable so I'd just go with 120.

Yeah no real choice for now.. Just happy to know its not the display. I hate sending things back time and money.

Yeah 144Hz does not work on AMD cards still, 120Hz for now, maybe the driver on the 19th will resolve this issue to, shall enquire with AMD. :)

You do have to wonder why when they have been talking about freesync for 6 months they still didnt have a driver ready to launch? Most people thought the delay was monitor manufacturers but right now the delay turns out to be a lack of driver! Big oops for AMD. How can they not have a driver ready to go! I suppose they could be withholding it until some arbitrary date they picked which is probably even worse. Then to suggest crossfire takes another month - EH? Honestly bit of a launch disaster for Amd. Maybe they should get the fixer in to fix their launches? Pity as i wanted them to get this right. Competition is good!

I thought he had, but meh.
I'll let him off if it comes in the second part, as it is still "omega" but it's no less shady.

Well that's amd for you.

A reply from shanks in another thread Jan 15th.
Am sure FreeSync is already on AMD's part! What happens outside with display manufactures they is nothing they can do..

AMD have done all they can do here..

But I guess defenders going to defend.

Sorry but I am literally ******* myself laughing - after all the jibes, etc. at GSync this is terrific.

(not at OcUK - you guys trying to push the envelope and get new tech actually out there is great).
