Can Nicola Sturgeon answer a question without saying 'austerity'?

I wish someone would call her out on what 'austerity' actually means (it just means trying to reduce the deficit), it doesn't necessarily mean cuts either (you can of course increase government via higher taxation).

She is abusing the word because she knows most viewers hear 'austerity' and think 'screwing over poor people'.
