There is no AMD Freesync in there.

I have 2 R9 290's

Cheers

Do u have to disable crossfire? for freesync to work ,,, i not sure as i'm still with Nvidia just at this minute but thats what ive read

Or issue with the windows 10.

Unfortunately the OS is not supported, since is not released yet.

Anyhow.
I plug this morning my old XL2410T :( how I manage to use that monitor for so many years? The quality is sub par compared to XL2730Z

Mines just been collected now bang on time :) lets see what the turnaround time is now and whether of not there's any damage thats happens in the process ,, hopefully not

To find out what version firmware you have you need to get into the service menu. I believe Falkentyne posted this somewhere around Pg 21 of this thread.

power off, enter +menu (button 3 and 4 on XL2720Z, should be the same on 30Z) for 5 seconds, power on +menu+enter, release power, then release menu+enter.

Hope this helps

DPD didn't pick up the monitor.

I spoke to Benq and they apologise on their behalf, saying that DPD told them (on my query) that either tomorrow or 8pm tonight (from work) they can collect it.

Asked them tomorrow and change the collection to my home address.

Please I explicit note. BenQ was very helpful, and kudos to them.
Their support was spot on and replied in matter of minutes after I emailed them.

Shame on DPD who came to work 3 times today (from different depots), and didn't pick up the monitor, as they had informed me.

Also, going back to XL2410T and playing Armored Warfare tonight, has made me think numerous time of my decision to be detached from the monitor even couple of days.
I love it, and works perfectly as is, even without AMA.

This unlocks the burn in (factory) menu, not the regular service menu.
The regular service menu is holding Menu for 5 seconds (Button #4) then power on +menu.

Just a few pointers:
If you unlocked either menu, the "Eye care" logo does not appear (unless you disabled the logo in the regular service menu first).
if you unlock the burn in (factory) menu, the input prompt (e.g. display port, DVI) does not appear, and the OSD timeout changes to infinite.
This applies to 2720Z, I do NOT know if it applies to 2730Z, but the button codes are the same :)

It took me 2 phone calls to DPD to get mine collected. The first was useless, the guy on the other end of the phone just told me "I don't have access to any information regarding your collection" to which I said "ok, you are useless, I will call back later", to which I did and spoke to another chap who was very helpful and got onto my local depot who told him the driver in my area "was rushed off his feet" but will make "a special effort" to collect mine, to which they did. I think if I had not kept onto them, it would not have been collected.

BenQ are not to blame here.

Hi,

So i do turn the monitor off first? then hold down menu for 5 seconds, (button 4 starting from the bottom or top?) then hold down power button + menu till i see the The regular service menu?

I can't get this up.. just need to found out what firmware i have, as now i'm back to windows 8.1, i still can't get free sync to be shown in CCC.

Frustrating lol

Cheers.

Might be your display port cable, they can be weird. Also if you are running crossfire, that doesn't work with freesync yet, AMD a bit behind with the drivers. If you are running just 1 card try enabling then disabling blur reduction and see if CCC detects freesync.
