well what a ballache this will be. Firstly, how many of us are still likely to have the original packaging with all the packing stuff. And secondly, how much is it going to cost to send this thing back? Any idea if BenQ will refund for returning?
Edit: Just spoke to BenQ now, we have to pay for the shipping back to BenQ, they will carry out the update and send the unit back free of charge. Apparently a very quick turn around, if any damage gets done to the monitor, they will ship out a brand new screen. So, it's off to the service and warranty section I go to fill out the form and get the RMA number.

I've just RMA'd my XL2730Z with BenQ for a firmware update. A company called Repairtech called me the day following the RMA number being issued by Benq (which itself took a day). They arranged collection via DPD the following day, who collected the monitor and stand (in original box) from my home - zero cost so far
