What have you done to your car today?

Thanks! :)

I haven't really decided yet... I've been considering hot superminis like the Polo 9N3 GTI and the Clio 197, and I've been considering hot hatches like the Focus ST225, MK4 Golf R32, and MK1 Mazda3 MPS.

Only a few more pay-cheques to wait for before the test drives commence... I am incredibly excited because it has been a very long time coming...

I used to have a pre face lift ST225, loved it and would certainly recommend one! My mate has an R32, its a MK5 though and that is a very nice car too. To be honest I don't think you can go far wrong with any of the cars you have suggested, they should all put a smile on your face! ;)

After driving a 54HP Polo for a few years, they're likely to put a freakish grin on my face. :p
You know head units with rear USB inputs are a thing?
I do, but my head unit was £30, and it isn't worth spending any more unless I endeavour to change the speakers and so on.

Considered an EP3 Acme? Great cars.

Yes I have, but I don't really like the "image"... :(

Also considered an FN2 but a good one would be a little too costly. Someone at work has a beautiful FN2 Type R Mugen in white. I can't help but give it a second, third and fourth glance as I walk past it. :)

I don't think they have an "image" anymore really, you don't see as many on the road as you used to. If you can see past the styling they are very capable cars.

I think the insurance was another reason why I stopped looking at them. If I recall correctly they were a fair bit more to insure than any of the others.

Sold one!

Bought a 1971 MGB GT 4 months ago for the missus but it's not going to be big enough for her to fit all her kit in. Bit of welding and some other work then an MOT, now sold.

Filled it up at the service station, I'll be lucky to get half that by the time I need to fill up again.

Mazda 3?

Took the motor into Halfords auto centre this morn for a 'free summer check'. I was hoping the A/C just needed a re-gas as it's not worked since I bought the car in winter. Rang me up later and told me the high pressure line was leaking, £320 for a replacement pipe and labor, **** that, windows down it is then... :(
