My N6 gets quite hot recently...not sure why.
Even when just internet browsing, its back gets hot...
Anyone experienced same ?
Might try and do a factory reset and see if it helps...

Mine gets noticeably warmer than my gf's when using the camera, charging, games and browser. Hers will stay cool to the touch whereas mine will be warm or hot. Even worse if I use it whilst charging.

Mines started crashing a lot. Started off once every now and then but today its done it about. 20 times! Took me about 5 attempts to get it back on then as every time I unlocked it crashed. Earlier it crashed whenever I opened the camera and also if I double clicked a notification when locked.

Do I return directly to Google? Had it since Jan.

Grr constantly crashing now, on the Mrs phone. :(

The CPU undervolts a fair bit, I'm at -100mV at there's still room to go. Helps with the heat and stamina.

Mine hardly ever gets hot in general use.

Might put a custom Rom on today, getting slight lags on chrome maybe it's encryption. Not too bothered about that but it's a nexus Needs to be rooted lol.

Looking at chroma, customisations sound good. How's the battery life on it, that's the most important thing for me after stability.

I'm on stock rooted with franco kernel. Xposed would have been the cherry on top but I haven't installed it yet.

I used this combo along with xposed & didn't really have an issue with the module's I used.

Currently running the M preview 2 with elite kernel seems to be OK so far, some nice little tweaks, although they have removed the dark theme for now.

Nice one. I'm looking forward to jumping on to M once the final release is out. I really do love this phone, and I'm quite surprised at how I quickly got used the size.

Got chroma on after managing to delete all data including operating system....

Seems ok, like the led control and the battery text/notification options.

Seems like there is high wake lock with Bluetooth. If so then this Rom is going, anything else people recommend?

Well done a factory reset and so far so good.

Was strange, every time it crashed it booted up as if it had just been updated (checking the apps etc) might have had a dodge update recently.

I went back to stock with franco kernel and then added whatever customisations I used after the fact, of which there are not a huge amount, to be fair. Most of the gains can be had simply by rooting and you rarely have trouble finding something compatible with your setup. Pretty much all I've done is set DPI to 193 and made the navbar smaller so easy enough to do but I'm sure there's much more possible.

Is there a website anywhere that tells you what apps don't work on rooted devices?

Used to root my handsets to improve performance and battery life but since I purchased the Note 3 two years ago, the stock ROM and general handset gave me no need to do so.

Tempted to root the stock ROM and then stick a custom kernel on it to undervolt or underclock the CPU. The Nexus 6 with Lollipop is so ridiculously fast and smooth but could eek out more battery life.

I'm going back to my rooted nandroid setup. Need Bluetooth, this thing kills the battery with it.
