Radeon FURY thread

I am not talking about loads more only a small fraction.

Even at that, i've yet to see any review of dual gpu setups mention any difference in ram usage compared to single gpu. Makes no sense why there would be any difference at all, everything is mirrored so where would the extra usage come from?

Well their official forum has a post on the changed framerate since the last update, plenty were talking about it in the gta v thread in the pc section. =/

I didn't play for long in truth and was in and out, so my word is to be taken lightly on this occasion.

And I'm sure I could beat Usain Bolt at the 100m under the right conditions.

if you both stand on the airplane 100m up in the air and then jump out without a parachute none would care who won.

One of the many leaked slides floating about showing how AMD have changed their tune.

390X 8GB = 4GB is not enough.

Fury 4GB = 4GB is suddenly plentiful.

290 4GB real, 970 3.5gb not real 4GB.
Fury x 4GB HBM better than 6GB Nvidia gddr5 old tech.

Kinda obvious guys dont you see the light yet?
or still debating if you want to jump out? ;)

For some reason I get the same on 1080P crossfire even at high settings. Something up with the game itself or AMD drivers most likely because it used to be ok when I first installed the game.

Oh well, there's goes that theory then.

Hoping it gets fixed soon as it was not like this before. FreeSync does help mask some of the drops though whilst playing.

thanks bud. Just came into a lot of money, want to know whether multi Fury X or multi 390x is the way forward right now. Not overly impressed with either of these cards, but I need something to get my Freesync moving.

Here you go Tony, recording/encoding on the fly costs me some fps.

2x Fury X @ 4K Ultra Settings (MSAA x2 - Advanced off) Grass Ultra.

thanks Matt appreciate that. What about with all 4 Furys in action?

It does not play nice with the recording software unfortunately so can't do it. One to two gpu's is the limit at the moment and even that has a big performance hit.

Fraps, open task manager and set it to low priority, also set affinity so it's not on the same cores as the game

What about DVR?

What's DVR? Do you mean the Gaming Evolved APP? That works okay, but it does have a performance hit. This is more so at 4K I've found. It works best with a single gpu, but it still knocks off 5 or more fps at 4K. As you add more gpu's it gets more problematic. It will get better in time though.

This is only at 1080p but there doesn't look like there is much performance hit at all.
