And?
Adding more hardly helps!
Are you sure?
Imagine a country with 50% of the population, of 10 million, who are "shirkers". You have 5 million workers supporting 5 million unproductives.
Now, introduce 1 million immigrants, for whom the shirker proportion is 5%. You now have nearly 6 million workers supporting a little over 5 million unproductives.
How is that not better?

But we have almost 20% more tax to upgrade that. As long as government isn't mismanaging such resources and failing to perform its role in correctly planning and financing such.Because we have a population of 11 million while our national infrastructure (schools, hospitals, roads, rail, housing etc) can only support a population of 10 million.
Probably generated in much the same way as we have absorbed a 5 million or so population increase in the past 10 years, with unemployment remaining broadly unchanged. Domestic demand generates a lot of jobs, as does a more productive (hence internationally competitive) workforce.Where are these 1 million or so jobs?
Technically human beings yes but I'd class them more like parasites. They're expendable.
Firing squad, problem solved. I wouldn't lose too much sleep.

But we need those schools, hospitals etc now - not in 5 years when the procurement cycle was complete. Incidentally, these projects wouldn't be funded by extra tax revenue - they'd be funded by more borrowing which according to this government is a bad thing.
It's a bit difficult for governments to plan for immigration when we are forced by EU law to have an open door policy that lets any EU citizen move to the UK without informing us at all.
Lol.
RAH RAH RAH IMMIGRANTS.
More British citizens scrounge off the state than immigrants, proportionately.
Why do they actually want to come here? What is the irresistible draw to get into the UK, rather than stay in any other modern European country once they have reached it?
Oh, in that case we'd better shut up shop and tread water. It's too difficult.
Impossible I would say to properly govern a country while having an open door immigration policy.
Right on.
On the other hand, the population has been steadily trending upwards for at least 25 years, at a fairly predictable rate (a slight upward curve). It's not exactly rocket science to map future needs.
Lol.

less than 10% are unemployed? it's like 6-7%?
How many of these immigrant scum bags have chance of employment?
All these immigrants are fleeing war torn countries where war is still ongoing. Even if we rid these countries with the current dictators, it leaves a leader-less country which is then a breeding ground for terrorists.
The world is basically screwed whichever option western governments choose to try and resolve this issue.
The channel tunnel really needs some blast doors so it can be locked at night, as that's when the majority of these immigrants will plan to storm it.
