I like other cultures and I like foreign food, and the best way to sustain those cultures is to keep people in their own country, not for everyone to go and live in the West so that every European country becomes a grey soup of sameness.

I don't want to visit Africa and find them all drinking Pimms, decorating their houses with large glass vases with twigs in them or hiking up hills at the weekend.
Neither do I want to visit the supposed capital of our country and find whole areas that look and smell like third world countries.

"I think blacks are inferior" isn't a way to solve the problem either though is it.

Being honest about why we like people from the Philippines and Nepal but dislike muslims is a step forward IMO.

Everyone is human, but some cultures don't fit in anywhere but in their own country.

While I'd love to see Cameron and his ilk prosecuted for criminal damage to this country and agree he is weak, it's more an issue of international laws. A person without a passport is considered stateless meaning by law they can't be sent anywhere because there's no way of legally proving they are from a certain country or not. This is a delaying tactic used by both the criminals and genuine people who are desperate to stay here, the process of identifying them and working with their home nations to get the back is difficult and expensive, with rampant corruption.

For a one off cost of 12p each, we could solve the problem permanently.

Let's put it this way, if you could get the illegals to line up, you might be able to reduce the cost per head to 6p or maybe even 4p if you pick out the thin ones.

There won't ever be a permanent solution. Even resolving the current root of the issue - destroying the enemies that are currently forcing millions out of the country will only be temporary. Having a country with no leader or a weak government will just cause further issues.

See the problem is people look at this with just what has happened in the likes of the middle east, we've gone over there not to help anyone but ourselves to their natural resources, we've entirely destabilized entire countries and then made a half baked effort to offer some stability which hasn't worked. Why because there hasn't been the political will to actually do something more significant than make sure we got what we came for.

If as I've said many times before we go in to a country as a global community and not just the UK, lets take Iraq for example, remove by force the corrupt and authoritarian regime and immediately start building and improving all infrastructure, improving the everyday quality of life of there general population, Hospitals, education sanitation etc while enabling a entirely free of influence democratic election to be held, while having experienced police officers the world over help train an effective and uncorrupted police force again made up entirely of there own people. Then guess what you'd have a stable country, still with some problems, but one where most of its natural born citizens wouldn't feel the desperate need to flee for a better life.

But lets look at this properly, yeah you have plenty of foreign communities that are pretty isolated and poorly integrated, why? Is it because these people are racist, is it because integration isn't possible for two people of different cultures? No! Multiculturalism failed because it was meant to fail, there was no encouragement to celebrate each others differences only an expectation for immigrants to conform to ours. When was the last time you stopped and talked to someone from another culture? Yeah exactly!

The funny thing is though taking my kids to the local play ground there's lots of people from lots of different cultures there usually, Polish, Greeks, Africans, Indians, Pakistani's etc etc and guess what our kids all pretty much end up playing together and having fun, our kids manage to integrate pretty damned well when left to it and guess what sometimes we parents even get chatting to one another and its interesting. You people should try it some time!

I meet lots of people settled in this country from other cultures and it us genuinely fascinating to be allowed into their lives and to understand their lived experience and how much it differs from my own.

I live right near Lodge lane in Liverpool one of the most densely immigrant populated areas in Liverpool and predominantly Muslim. Am I not allowed to go there for fear of my own safety?
