@ XeNo: No, never als heard of that before as some of y friends are suing this also, no not happened untill now. Is there any improvement so far?
 
Guys, is there a way to completely disable screen timeout, but temporarily? When I'm looking at an eliquid mixing recipe on the phone and have protective gloves on, it's a pain to keep taking the gloves off to use fingerprint recognition to get the screen back on. I can extend it to 10 minutes but that's not really long enough for me.

Not sure if this will work but if you go into settings and to display there should be an option called "Smart stay"
Hope that helps solve your problem.

Yeah I'd already spotted that. It's ok but unless you look at it every few seconds, it'll go off. But I'll use it along with the 10 minute maximum screentime, it should definitely help.
 
Got a Black Edge plus coming tomorrow, saw it in the shop today and the display is stunning.

Just a shame EE don't sell the silver version
