My biggest gripe with the SX mini...bar its misleading name, was the battery door, i hate screw caps, in the even your battery vents, you have no hope but to wing the mod in the air... not good. I prefer battery doors with magnets, you can rip open and pop your cells out quick.

I havent put down my Steam Crave squonker all weekend, loving it... looking forward to getting the Snapdragon and the Svapiamo Squonker and getting good TI or SS build running with TC.
Just looked at my FT orders page... 9 orders currently either shipping or awaiting parts for shipping, im outta control, however i did sell a old mod last month with a tank and a mod this month and about to sell a second this month with an RDA and Nitecore charger and VTC5's, not going to cover what ive spent but will make room lol
I could do with shifting on some of my DNA40 mods but they are home made so cant sell them on UKV

Might be the wrong place but I know we have battery experts, it's a non vaping related matter, but to do with lipo run times. I have a meeting with a manufacturer tomorrow, their equipment is randomly failing, I've narrowed it down to the protection circuit being removed in favour of software monitoring. What I need to figure out is the predicted run time.
650mah, 1c, 2.4w/h drawing 2.3a, nominal voltage of 3.7v, max charge 4.2v with supposed 3v cut off.
Every figure I come away with ends up around 280 hours run time, somewhere just over 200hours at 80%
Do these results sound right or am I doing some of my sums wrong?

How many milliamps is the equipment drawing?
The battery is 2.4W/H so for your figures draw must be tiny

Draw is 2.3a so 2300ma, it literally powers a sensor and a set of 3 leds. The problem is I'm barely getting 5 hours out of some of them, so need to go in to this meeting armed with as much ammo as possible
If its a 650mah battery powering a 2.3a draw i'm surprised it's lasting longer than 30 minutes.
The mah rating is if it was taking a 650ma current draw it'd last an hour.
I'm guessing this 2.3a load isnt a constant if it's lasting that long, in which case We need to know what % of time on average it's on.
If it was on 100% of the time it'd last 650/2300 which i work out to be 17 minutes roughly
Either that or everything i think i know about batteries is wrong lol
Re-wicked and got 12 monkeys O-RangZ so much better, I let some people I know try the slurricane all said that it was horrible... The O-RangZ tastes like Cereal at first as you blow the cloud you get a hint of lemon and after taste is a mixture of milky cereal with lemon.
I also tried some DIY liquid made by my tutor, which were really interesting in terms of flavour. I also had a chance to taste the 12 monkeys mangabeys (my favourite so far, even though it had 3mg nic, I still loved the taste!)

Where should I get the concentrates from? Any particular brand you use for this recipe?

For around £30 (£40 tops) what compact battery+tank would you guys recommend? It doesn't have to chuck big clouds, its for a smoker trying to quit.

I must be taking a reading wrong somewhere, I've just rechecked and it is drawing 2.3a according to my dc clamp meter. More digging needed I think, so many variables measuring lipos it seems, cell resistance, peukerts law and lots of other things I didn't realise existed until today
Though I've consistently (with online calcs) come away with around 282 hours, incidently 650/2300 = 0.282 which x 60 gives the 17 min figure.

E: I now suspect my clamp meter doesn't read as low as its drawing.
I'm now thinking it means 23ma, from my workings out the flashing led would only consume 15ma, and the 3 digit display another 5ma or so, with the other 3ma on the board its self. That in theory should give around 28hours, which is more the ball park I was looking for.

CAP means Capella which is the flavour "brand" I personally buy from ChefsVapour
Kanger Subvod, not really a starters kit, but replace the .5ohm coil with a 1.2ohm and close down the airflow and it does a great job, my dads been smoke free for 2 weeks now since i got him his

Are you sure its a slurricane clone, as the ingridients in slurricane are: Peach, Papaya & Guava. The Guava is just killing it, its to overwhelming...
I really need to look for a clone of Mangabeys from 12 Monkeys, that e-liquid is soo good!

I've read on the forum that the Pineapple is a bit too overwhelming on this one, so will probably have to tone it down to 7% as in mangabeys you can feel more pineapple, but as it fades away you get the mango taste again and guava is symbolic there.

It's not a like-for-like clone, it was found on E-Liquid-Recipes.com (link) but a few of us, myself included had a play around with the recipe to make it taste better.
Well, can't say I'm all that impressed with Slurricane, smells nicer then it tastes, has a weird after taste too, tastes a bit like orange rockstar - which I like, but in a drink not a vape.
