yea :( I was checking yesterday and all in stock ...so ready to sent the faulty for a refund and get another and now .... bah nice drop and straight out of stock ....damn all those phones ! :P
Now have to wait for refund and hope that maybe they will be back in stock? or go for LG G4 for 235....

I wanted the Note 5 but they didn't release it over here. I don't think I will be able to wait for the Note 6 as they normally come out in Sept. Will keep an eye out for anything else interesting

I don't think I will be buying N6 ....was told that only refund is an option:

" Support: No the nexus 6 is discontinued and it won't be back in stock again"

Wondering if the few units will be up for grabs but prob not :( unless want to pay silly money elsewhere 4 it
well so either repair my S4 or LG G4 if I will find somewhere local in stock..

I've been noticing my Nexus 6 lagging a lot since 6.0. I have just tried to reboot into recovery to wipe the cache. When I try this, instead of getting the recovery menu, I get a red triangle. If I leave the phone for a few minutes it reboots back into Android.

How do I go about fixing this?

Starting to get a few issues now with dirty unicorn ROM and there kernel.

What's everyone running currently? I fancy switching back to Franco kernel just not sure what ROM to use if any.

I think you have to press power again or volume up I can't remember it has been ages since I used stock recovery.

I was on stock & franco, I am currently using Chroma with only V4A installed no custom kernel.

I reckon I will flash Chroma next as it seems well developed and stable.

Can I used Xposed with Chroma? Im guessing not, if so how do I go about blocking Ads in YouTube? :)
Edit:1 reading through the thread, xposed does work, just not officially supported in chroma?

edit2 - also Matteysan, are you running decrypted?

I don't have a clue about xposed I never use it. I found Chroma to be very stable too no issues whatsoever. Battery life was good enough too with the stock kernel included.

I was running encrypted but I wasn't too fussed about performance its been fine either way for me.
I use adaway it seems to block the ads from videos, But not the one at the top on the main page, Perfectly happy with that.

My headphone jack has died on this phone now & I have to send it back to get it repaired. Out comes the trusty Nexus 4 which hasn't skipped a beat since I bought it on release.

Thanks. Does it block the ads that happen inbetween videos, the one you can sometime skip?

I wanted to try decryption as I'm about to do a clean install anyway so thought may aswell. However the method seems very unclear.

From what I understand

1. Flash modded boot.img via ADB
2. Reboot into bootloader and wipe user data
3. boot into TWRP and do a full wipe
4. Flash rom (with encryption disabled i.e chroma)

EDIT - this video seems much clearer

EDIT - however the above video is for old 5.0 LP. I'll be doing it on 6.0 M, and it seems a few extra steps are required, can anyone confirm?

Is that it? If you don't know then not to worry.

Sorry to hear about the N6, seems quite a few of us here have had a few issues.

Flashed chroma yesterday and Franco kernel, battery life is looking okay so far on 53% after taking it off charge at 5.30 this morning neally 3hrs SOT atm but I've had Spotify on for just over 6hrs.

Anyone know if you can get rid of the navigation bar only on the home screen? I can only seem to remove it all together, I have no use for it on home screen as I have gestures set. I'm using nova launcher(prime) if that helps.

As far as I know yep :) I've never noticed it anyway. (after I posted this it came up with an advert!) Roll on youtube red :|

Not too sure on the encryption thing I haven't done it for a long time! :)

Yeah shame about it & its going back to SBE again :|

Haha, yeh I hate those ads. Red is taking ages!

I flashed Chroma and Franco last night and it seems I'm decrypted! I didn't do anything fancy, just flashed the ROM and KERNEL. It allows me to encrypt the phone instead of being already decrypted, so I guess I'm decrypted.

Seems it does decrypt it cause my nexus 4 isnt enabled on chroma :)

How is Franco? I stopped using it for a while cause I was getting random reboots.

Sorry I got mixed up at the end of that last post. It was supposed to say "so I guess I'm decrypted".

Edit - its all a little confusing. I think the main issue is the nexus 6 came encyrpted from the factory whereas the Nexus 4 came decrypted.

Franco seems good so far. I'm on r42 and the extra brightness feature is nice. Everything else seems stable so far.
