***** The Official Division Thread *****

So last night was fun, was busy doing side missions and encounters. Had an invite from one of my destiny Xbox buddies, joined his game and he helped me blast through 4 missions all on hard. I just sat back and let him annihilate everything as he is level 30 with some insane weapons.

Levelled from 15 to 18 in about an hr lol v

Gah got up this morning to grind out some gear and downtime :/

Really wish you could compare mods on weapons before buying them. Also preview clothing before buying them.

What are peoples favorite shotguns and marksman rifles?

Good fun on this last night with the Mrs. We are both up to level 18 now (not rushing).

Got some good synergy going on our talents which results in my Support station and (Flame) turret being up nearly constantly in fire fights.

The ending of the Police Academy mission was fun with my turret setting fire to everything that attempted to breach the doorway :D. Mrs had the cover buff up nearly constantly whilst we were both being healed and had unlimited ammo from my support station.

I have found my loadout for the moment which is a combination of the L86 and Socom M1A. This may change once we hit end game (Well the DMR won't...) but for now I am loving it.

:)

What are you guys concentrating on re: DPS, Health & Skill Power ? Do you try to keep a balance or do you really beef up the DPS and or health ?

Mine is quite balanced but that due to the stats that keep dropping for me on armour, rather than by picking them, electronics stat items rarely drop for me. Currently 2000 firearms, 2000 stamina and 1500 electronics. Its working well at the moment and can hold my own on the challenge missions. Working my way though the high end blue prints then we can then into the fun of re-rolling for the right stats :D

I'm the other way around, i'm around 2100 firearms, 1500 stamina and 2000 electronics.

Really helps with the power of your turrets and healing etc..

Had my first venture into the DZ lastnight and was surprised at the lack of PvP happening. Managed to get to rank 16 and had a good haul of purples along with my first yellow.

Yep it does seem empty in there, because you can get to all the DZ zones and its much larger than the beta everyone is more spread out, and the negative from getting killed as a rogue at present just doesn't seem worth it. Up to DZ rank 25 and saw my first rogue agent last night, two of us had just taken down a named boss and he thought it was a good idea to attack, he learnt the quick way not a good idea and we thank him for the drops :D

That's the way my gear is dropping.

Just noticed how much topend gear takes to reroll /shock

Whilst not top end I also noticed (after I had done it of course) how much it costs to re-roll armour. I wanted a support pack stat on my new chest piece and saw it was only ~1500 credits and thought what the hell. Two re-rolls later I was out of credits. I hadn't noticed that the cost sky rockets past the first re-roll.

To make matters worse I didn't get a great re-roll (well I got turret health which is ok for my build) and I was looking at the wrong piece of armour anyway.... (stat I wanted wasn't even possible..) :o

Teach me to mess around with the station when I am not concentrating...

Stat wise I am somewhat of a glass cannon atm. I could do with more health but I don't have the stats on my current armour set to give me the stamina without sacrificing a massive amount of DPS. Ultimately I will aim for a more balance build for the end game.

For the moment my ~100% up support station with an additional faster healing perk on the armour helps combat my relatively low health.

They've got the risk / reward balance wrong with going rogue.

The most reward you get for going rogue is 1500 DZ funds and that's after surviving a rogue 5 manhunt. Plus up to 9 items you may have picked up from the players on the way.

Nothing in comparison to having the whole dark zone after you.

The risk is that you can lose 100s of thousands of DZ funds and DZ XP and DZ keys when you die. People have dropped 5 DZ ranks after dieing as rogue for example.

Its just not worth it. The only people going rogue are those that do it accidentally.

Absolutely love this game, it's just superb. The combat is so good

Spent 7 hours on it last night and managed to get to level 19 from level 11. The main missions are great if you have a good team with mics, actually forces you to be tactical if you're all the correct level for the mission.

I've not gone in to the Dark Zone yet, am I missing out on much? Or should I wait until I'm a bit higher level?

Think this is what will make things very interesting once we get end game content. Have too get the perfect gear with the perfect stats on all slots is something too aim for. The huge differences in stats options also keeps things interesting. As long as the grind part is not too boring, and the end game is fun it should keep the game going along for awhile.

Anyone want to give me an idealised way to level up or should I just do everything and keep exploring between missions?

Gonna do a lot solo just to take my time (not gonna chase perfection setups this time around!). I presume soloing hard missions is probably gonna take too long/not good way to maximise getting good loot?

When is the best time to go to the DZ? As everyone here is further ahead I'll be soloing at a guess - unsure how randoms are in there...

best way to level up is not to ignore the side missions and encounters.

Ignore these and you won't level up fast enough to keep pace with the increase in difficulty of the missions.

I found the best way is just to do the side missions in an area, hand in the reward quest then go to the new safe house it tells you to and just chain them that way, I leveled so quickly doing that last night.

Doing the main missions will get you leveled quickly too if you can find a higher level team to carry you through the harder ones

I'm sure I could get loads of people to carry me off here but thought why waste content like that. 30 seems to be easy to get (though I'll be trying to artificially sit at the top of DZ levels to abuse DZ) so Ill pad it out til April's update...

Just DZ with randoms isn't the most appealing idea :p

Anyone else getting 'Delta 20010186' all the time ? Literally never got on first time, ps4 is in the DMZ and still :|

We are aware of log in issues for PS4 players leading to Delta errors. This is under investigation.

Anyone else getting quite frequent lag issues? I stopped playing last night, half way through the last mission because of it... Playing at work today, with a ridiculously fast connection, still getting hit with intermittent lag, It's getting me killed quite regularly :/
