insurance

That time of year again, the insurance renewal came yesterday.
£104 up from £87 (last year & the year before) with 3 years no claims(with Hastings direct).
went with Bennetts £78.

Funny how they blatantly rely on people not being bothered to change.

Anyone with renthals, how did you people install the weights back onto the bars? The diameter inside the bars is tighter than the original bars...

Edit Have an idea, I hope it works. :p

Looks a bit more complete with the belly pan fitted, stuck a new horn on as well as my old one was temperamental even after cleaning the contacts.

Time to enjoy the sun now!
 
That was a nice little blast, some little scrote in his clapped out peugeot did try and race me bless him then some blind bint tried pulling into my lane like I didn't exist. On that note my new horn isn't exactly manly but it's better than mashing a silent button!

Edit: Can you still say "floor it" for bikes? When in context of biking it sounds like I just told you to drop your bike :(
 
To be fair that's my usual go to as well I have to actively think about where my horn button is but I thought I'd give it a test.
 
Yep I don't bother with the horn most most of the time, 14k rpm at the limiter for a second or 2 (sometimes with a backfire or flame :D) is loud enough :) and easier than fumbling for the horn.
