**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

So anyone think Volta is due in 2017 or still think it's a 2018 product? Interested in seeing if it's due shortly after the 1080Ti.

I'll prob skip 1080Ti because of cost, and my current card still blazes thru games.

10 series has flopped in sales imo. We just aren't being told.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see Volta next year.

Pascal clearly does not have as good a DX12 implementation than what AMD already have implemented, almost future proofing their current architectures. What with more and more recent benchmarks with the RX480 doing so well and FuryX trading blows with a 1070.

nVidia will try and get a 1080ti out before christmas to steal away people from Vega until they release Volta late end of 2017..

So if that is true the leak this whole thread is about is totally wrong lol

Price looks right. £800 to £1000 depending on the maker. Reckon there will be a clown one for £800 :)

TitanXP still slower than GP100 :) Us ordinary folk can't even purchase one :D

I don't think that's actually true.

GP100 has all the FP64 cores, which add nothing to gaming performance but increase heat and decrease clockspeeds.

The full unlocked core only has 3840 FP32 cores, vs 3584 on the Titan XP. I wouldn't be surprised if GP100 can't hit above 1800 MHz, in which case the GP102 core probably ends up faster (or equal) in gaming.
