if i take P3 at face value from his E3 speech, then what your wanting is less than what the console can do.

i'm sure yours is a sound option if MS cant deliver without compromise though.

Heck yes, but it is unto the developer. Many may choose to do this.

Performance won't necessarily scale in a proportionate and linear fashion like that though.

Youre right, looking at FH3, Devs like Payground will have a great time getting far more out of a machine like Scorpio

Guess you don't mean announced as it's already been announced last year, but I doubt anything will be mentioned till e3, but even then I don't think we'll see the console itself till some Microsoft exclusive event in September/October.

CES has never really been the venue of choice. More likely E3 in June this year, ready for the Holiday Season release date.

Be nice if they straight up made a black and white versions off the bat for choice.
Also wouldn't mind if it was a beefier design of the current S, that looks lovely.

Judging by info today at CES, this looks certain to be using Zen + Vega, which means the 6TF vs 4TF PS4 pro comparison is.... not accurate. If Zen is significantly more efficient than Polaris then we'll have a situation where for instance 1TF Vega is worth 1.5TF Polaris, which would mean we really have more than 4TF vs 8TF in a direct comparison.

Scorpio is going to trash the PS4 in performance.
