This is why I resisted buying the first gen stuff on the PC. Either late this year or sometime in 2018 the PC should get something that can beat the PSVR and hopefully not cost silly money like the Vive. Really hope Vive 2 can improve on what they have and lower cost for their next release. Would rather not buy a Facebook VR set if I can help it

Yeah, Gen II hardware on PC should be really good

For now though the low(ish) cost of PSVR with Sony's support behind it is a no brainer

Since the patch I can no longer have shadows on very high, even at 2560x1080!

It has to be on High instead for 60fps+, otherwise it halves instantly. Weird thing is I can now use very high everything else and at 3440x1440 with HBAO+ when shadows is set to just high and get the same 60fps+

Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 will be available to purchase for all other platforms on February 21st. Deluxe Edition and Season Pass owners will get the Banned Footage contents as they release per above and an additional story episode with more details to come. Finally, in spring 2017, all players will have access to the free “Not a Hero” content, introducing players to a new separate storyline away from Ethan’s saga in the main game.

As much as I pre-ordered and enjoyed the game, will wait for DLC stuff to be on sale before I bother picking it up. Will also want to see if it is any good.

Quite enjoyed the very small teaser on Steam. Atmospheric and spooky :cool:

. Hopefully will grab this on a deep cut promo. Also seemed like decent FPS @ 1440P even on Win 7 without DX12, not yet FRAP tested it.

Nay, you get pillarboxes. It's actually rendering the pillarboxes which is most annoyingly amusing as well. So Capcom COULD propelry support 21:9, just they said "na sod it we CBA" and left it as is.

ShadowPlay recordings and screenshots have the pillarboxes in them.

That Dlc is out now on PS4.. the games been out a week, screams of content pulled from the main game to sell separately to me! Even if not, still seems too soon

It seems most AAA games these days have DLC lined up only 5 minutes after the games been out and it's insulting. As if the price wasn't enough already.

But yes paid Dlc right after launch is terrible. At that point just add it in to the game. Or give the game time to settle and produce quality Dlc like the witcher etc. This will just reuse assets I imagine

yeh the dlc looks pretty crap, I'm going to hold off and if there is one bit of it that looks good I will just buy it separate.

Just finished the game myself, took 9hrs. Felt the second half of the game wasn't as good as the first but was still good enough.
If they had padded out the mansion for another couple of hours with more puzzels or keys like old resi I would have been a lot happier.

Totally agreed. I suppose it was more of a big house than a mansion though.

I really want a mansion for Resident Evil 8, with better more/better puzzle and of course Zombies!

Actually hope they do now, have it pritty much the exact same but in first person with the re engines graphics.
Never thought I would say that before resi 7.

Pretty sure it will be. I have no problem with it. It would help give a new experience to the game to be honest

Even better would be if they had both modes. But I do not think they would go for that.
