The massive slicks on the Nissan Patrol was an instant giveaway that it was going to completely daft with a GTR drive train swap
From reddit: "The car in the film actually belongs to one of the ruling family members of Dubai. It has GTR engine and drive train that was fitted by Nissan in Japan and brought here. Then it was modified further to produce 1900 hp."
I wounder what was cheaper the 918 or nissan lol

Have to say I really would love one of those Range Rover Autobiography SUVs Clarkson chose for the "[censored] to [censored]" episode - such a nice car!
That 1900bhp Nissan was obviously going to paste Hammond in that drag race but still it was funny to watch! I like that they basically got one half of the motorway closed for that segment
although I guess when the ruling family wants to show off a crazy car they can do what the heck they like!

Most interesting car in the whole series and they barely mentioned it, sums up the whole series.
Once you add the engine upgrade, nappa interior, lane assist, etc. it mounts up.
Just had a look and you can fully spec out a Focus RS (Excluding premium colours) for £35,890 on the Ford site. I just don't understand why anybody would buy the Golf.

Was it a Clubsport? I haven't seen the episode yet.
Not sure as I'm not all that clued up on Golfs, just that it was a GTI and cost over £36k.
While watching some of the earlier segments I did notice that some of the drifting was a bit more ragged in TGT than the ultra choreographed shots from TG. Now I know why! Great end to the series IMO, looking forward to the next one.

It is a LOT for that car though, considering the Focus RS exists.
That i3 though, what a waste of money lol. It doesn't even look good.
