*** Zelda: Breath of the Wild ***

When did you order? I ordered a couple of months back, got the notification to say it was delayed. Cancelled, and then reordered on Wednesday after being let down elsewhere and it got here yesterday.

I have one at Argos to pick up that I'm not going to bother getting, have you tried there?

I ordered on the 3rd. Got a copy on the way from 365games so cancelled the Amazon order.

I've just finished reading through this thread and I'm deeply regretting not pre-ordering a Switch now. I just couldn't justify it to myself for Zelda along.... Ah well.

Nope. I wasn't advised to get any. Which was odd. When starting a quest they usually give some sort of clue or tip on items you may need.

I'm glad I'm on 14 hearts or I would have really struggled. :p
I killed the first 3 via stealth but then got spotted. I only had 6 hearts but I killed them. Just use bomb or fire arrows, easy :p

Got 8 hearts now though, had 10 unspent shine orb thingies, so finally got around to getting two hearts, so now on 8 :D

The funny thing is when I found their hide out I could not get in, no matter what I tried. Then later realised it is a part of a quest, hence the reasons the doors were locked until you trigger the quest. I was feeling like I found something special when I came across it while exploring, but not so special in the end.

There is a hidden shine nearby there, did you find it? Came in handy for quick travel :)

The game is awesome. Better than anything else I have played in a while and yes I game on pc and yes I think this game is better than the likes of witcher 3 if you do not let graphics get in the way. Gameplay wise it is just awesome.

I didn't find the hidden shrine. Nope :p

When their guards found me. I just climbed a ladder and hid up the top area and threw bombs down on them til they died :D

Damn. I used expensive arrows. Oh well, got over 4K waiting to be spent anyway :p

I think I've done a different order than just about everyone here. Zora, Goron and just arrived at Rito village.

Finally got around to doing Mt. Lanayru the reward was a bit dissappointing for all the effor, but I did find some Climbing Shoes in a nearby shrine.

Making my way to Rito village, god that's a long way! And I now realise since the game don't do experience points which is different to most RPG, I gain nothing by beating all these bad guys along the way unless I'm dying for monster parts.

Most of the time I'm just legging it to get to where I need to go!

Wow ! And they're like, so easy to fish with bombs. :D

Haven't had chance to play today. Literally just hit goron village last night.

If you have any, Amiibo are great source of meat and fish, the toon link amiibo gives a broad sword and about 8 fishes.

I know what you mean, but I actually find the combat very satisfying, if I see a group of enemies I tackle them in different ways rather than just storming in as that would get repetitive.

I just watched Dunkeys latest video (where that gif & chucco gif in the article come from ) and honestly although its just silliness its the first thing I've seen from the game that actually makes me really want to go out and buy a switch just to play this. It looks fantastic!

I am absolutely bowled over by this game. It is truly outstanding, I bought a 2nd hand Wii u just to play it. Spent 5 hours just getting off the Great Plateau. Never had this much fun in many many years of gaming, feel like a kid all over again.
