US: **The Walking Dead Season 7 - Contains Spoilers - No future content to be discussed **

One of my issues with the show is, they have always been this pathetic. Unless you get surrounded by a hoard, you should be able to just wander through them, stabbing them in the noggin. This is why I don't understand how they overcame the military. Unfortunately 'Fear The WD' didn't explain this either.

I thought the Rick & Michonne melee at the fair ground was not really falling inline with the scheme of things. The walkers have (supposedly) always been a threat when in numbers, while manageable in dribs and drabs. All of a sudden an enclosure full of them is nothing to worry about with just a sword and a pointy stick? It was an episode that had quite a few "Really??" moments. I can forgive the 30 seconds of wonky CGI with the deer, it was more of how come the deer is still alive anyway in an enclosure full of walkers? Likewise reaching over far enough to grab someone standing on a car roof was beyond them. Can't remember where I read it, but the theory is as time passes the walkers are becoming weaker as they slowly die. Dunno, not the best of episodes. Still enjoy it though, even if it's not quite as sharp and clever as the earlier series.

Not sure how the magic CGI deer got into the apparently 'sealed' fair ground area. Assuming it came in the same gap as rick then it still got all the way to the back of the ground without attracting any attention. NINJA DEER!
A deer can jump 12 feet or so in the air, so it's not inconceivable it could have leaped over a fence and got stuck.

I thought the walkers in the fairground looked like dribs and drabs... and yes, their cells still deteriorate or something, which is why they come apart quite easy these days :)

Yeah were quite a few comedy moments, it doesn't all have to be serious guys :p

I wonder why loads of the walkers in the fairground has their hands bound with zipties? Did the military do that before they 'died' or did someone else do it afterwards?

well you would guess its prisoners or possible infected or suspected infected restrained then it got out of hand.overwhelming them. i didnt mind the episode too much.just wish they would get to battling negan

I agree - problem is that without the 'filler' episodes we'd be done and dusted in about 4 episodes.

I can just about take cartoon zombie killing, swords being thrown, daft CGI deer. BUT - the way the junkyard leader speaks is DOING MY HEAD IN. How in 5 years has language mutated like that?

As a long time hater of people saying how much they hate this show week in week out, I have been a huge defender of the show but I have decided to bail on it. Do not fear I won't be in here every week to tell how bad it is. I reached the end, I don't care for any of Ricks crew. The show would be better if Neagan slaughtered the lot and we moved on to another group or stuck with Neagan. I just don't care any longer if we wins and then it's just a wait for the next gang.

My wife still watches it and if it turns into something I want to watch again I can just start again or sprint through it to catch up in a few days. Week to week this show just doesn't work for me any more sadly.

Noooo. Why on earth would you want to bail on it? Seriously? what does it matter what other people think about it if you enjoy it? I'm a fan of the show, but it's not perfect. I don't see anything wrong with discussing its merits and shortcoming's on here. Having differing views makes the world go round, hating some of the characters, and rooting for others is what it is there for. The "scavengers" are a bit pish, and the group are a bit fragmented at the mo, but that may change. Even though it's doesn't quite grip like it did, it's still worth an hour a week compared to some of the other tat that's thrown out.

In the very early episodes the "walkers" could actually run, this seemed to be changed after a couple of episodes as they probably knew it would be harder to have the survivors escape all the time. People put their slow movement down to them decaying but it was literally one episode they could run and the next they couldn't so obviously a writing choice. I could see some of the military being swamped with them running but against tanks and apc's etc they would get demolished, they probably didn't explain it as it would look stupid whatever way they tried to do it if they had actually filmed scenes showing it.
