Destiny 2

Would love to see this as a cross-platform title!! - i.e. multiplay across platforms.

The ocuk community made this game more for me than the gameplay itself lol - you guys know who I am referring to - u gits :p :) :p

If this comes out for PC its time to upgrade to Ryzen lol. Otherwise I think I'll get a PS4 Pro

@@Dredd - you know where to stick that elite controller don't you? :p :)

Heres hoping real life calms down before its released - life is currently so upside down I ain't touched either consoles or pc for over 3 months! :(

Pre-ordered for the PS4, may get the PC version as well if cross play is a thing. Even better if the player stats transfer between systems.

I wonder if they will release the full game in bits again like last time, I enjoyed the game a lot (for a while) but couldnt help feel a bit annoyed.

I think youre a fool if you pre order this game.

Well pre-ordered my copy of destiny2, ended up with the limited edition for the eye watering price of £90:eek:

I don't bother playing destiny 1 anymore, last time I played was back in Feb of this yr. the new update didn't interest me.

So I'll be returning to the fold come sept when D2 is released.

I was a hard core Desticle until around November 2015, the introduction of micros and mini events over proper content turned me off and I never went back.

I'd love to get behind the sequel but with those prices, no chance. I want some assurance that lessons have been learned and we aren't just buying a Cabal themed reskin of the first game.

Aside from the fact that the last game the season pass didn't get you all the DLC and they then released further costly expansions, but sure yeah.
They did and it ****** me off too however it's catch 22, if you buy it later then the year1 stuff raids etc people moved on so much harder to play that part. I don't regret my destiny 1 purchase at launch. I genuinely think bungie know what went wrong so I have faith.

I have pre-ordered with Rainforest on PS4 so I can try the Beta, I can then decide which platform to buy it on later.

I am torn on which platform though, Dredds is right about the lack of information regarding any differences across platforms, the PS4 and Xbox One were held back by previous gen consoles and it remains to be seen what will happen with PC, PS4 Pro and Scorpio compared to PS4 and Xbox One.

My pc would run destiny2 however I'm sticking to ps4 due to people from here I also think it will have bigger base of players than pc. Plus I can't be bothered fighting with potential pc issues.

Like that is the only lack of information... we know virtually nothing about the game or bungie's plan for it, it'll take a massive change of direction regarding expansions and dlc for me to even consider purchasing, the group I used to play Destiny with are all of the same opinion too.

My boys have agreed to give me £20 each, so I've just ordered the digital deluxe version.

I still think it's overpriced and digital should be cheaper than physical. But I'm weak. :)

I can't believe I've just paid £90 for a game. :|

Same here. I wanted to play taken king but couldn't support the frankly ridiculous idea of releasing ttk as a full price game. I'm still salty about it now.

I'll keep an eye on D2 but still cannot support these kinds of practices, no matter how much i want to play. Perhaps to my own detriment i admit.

I've bought Destiny four times over, and still see the outlay as an absolute bargain. I've spent £40 on other games that I've played for an hour, and I've paid £170 on Destiny across X1 and PS4 and played for ~1,200 hours.

Can't wait for Destiny 2 - I've already pre-ordered for 90 quid (and know it'll be money well spent) and booked in holiday time off work :p

Pah, just short of 1500 hours here and I stopped playing in 2015.

*puts e-peen away*

I'm more inclined to wait for 12 months and get a year's worth of Destiny 2 content for £40.
