I hope you've got kit insurance![]()
Told your misses yet?![]()
£299-£799, which ones are you going to get? They're a bit cheaper
Not used it on the bike yet, but despite being heavy and quite rigid, it sits so nicely on your body that you could wear it all day. You can't feel the armour either, so nice and soft.
Yeah slipping the clutch is key, my Tuono is like that - if you released the clutch fully while turning under 10mph I'd be in the next road over!! And it's got a sportsbike steering lock too. If it's really slow turns I'll clutch in fully and just let it back out once I'm turned, obviously that's only good when you're moving before the turn.Went to get petrol ready for the weekend. Took 30 mins
Still need to get more confidence with slow turns from standing, i.e. turning right off a main road into a side road. I think I just need to slip the clutch more, my triple can go pretty fast in 1st gear so I tend to get a bit jerky with the throttle :/ Perhaps some time spent in an empty carpark is due.
One bugger on my bike is that it's got the exact same turning circle as a daytona so the steering goes full lock pretty easily which really throws your balance on slow speed youies.

Lean your body to the outside of the turn when you're going really slow, helps balance and you turn tighter. So bike is \ you want to be straight up | or even over to the right

No one should be posting in here today get out
I am gone in 10 mins.
I'll always remember I couldn't do the U turn prepping for my test, then the morning of my test I discovered this. The instructor kept finding me smaller and smaller roads and I kept U turning perfectly in them!
So serious question, how can the price be justified? My £160 jacket doesn't feel heavy and rigid, sits nicely on me and I do wear it all day without really feeling the armor.
