in the way that it has no real use - it is featured by a prominent organisation and open to all ergo can be skewed by whoever...

All polls are run by organisations and are designed to influence public opinion, especially gov polls which only target a small select portion of the population. This poll was done on 'this morning' or whatever rubbish tv show that a lot of people watch in the mornings on itv, so it's voters are from many different back grounds and probably more accurate than most polls that the general population never ever get questioned.

Well, of course you wouldn't, that assessment of Corbyns vs Mays record is your personal opinion only, not fact and is prejudiced by your own bias, which being the staunch (extreme) Libertarian you are, is usually pretty out of kilter with most other peoples.

There are plenty of Corbyn - bad, TM - good you have posted that I would disagree with totally

exactly, glad im not the only one to pick up on wacko jacko over here :D

ITv so Jeremy Kyle non-voting audience?

it's from the viewers of that 'this morning' or whatever show it's called which has a big viewing audience from many different backgrounds throughout the country which is good for a poll. It's been shared on social media quite a lot which adds to the diversity even more.

Not a great many people will full time employment though, cuts a fair bit of your 'diversity'.
I find great solace in you utilizing a single poll that has results so radically insane compared to anything else.
70% Corbyn, great, hope he achieves that, that would be a very interesting mandate for the country.

Urgh no it wouldn't. I for one will not be voting for a terrorist sympathisor and apologist.

Think of the mandate. with 70% of the vote, labour would have 90% of the English seats, and in having so, they would then have absolutely no idea if they are pro- or contra brexit, no idea what they want internationally, no idea what they want for foreign affairs, all they would know is they all want rid of the man at the top.
All they would be sure of is they want to tax people at the top, more, because 'reasons'.
It would be utter hilarity, and Len McCluskey could run the country. Gabbatek would be in heaven :p

The same applies to anyone, because by and large, politics is subjective. The only part that can claim some objectivity is economics, and that's because at its simplest, maths is the key measure for checking the consistency and validity of the position ( and indeed why I started with the economics. Regardless of your viewpoint, there has to be an alignment between taxation and spending over time.)

It's a self selecting sample with no management of representivity and no weighting against past behaviour or population demographic. It's nonsense.

Are the conservatives really only popular because of a perceived lack of opposition? I mean with May's consistent lies, inexplicable belief switches, apparent narcissism and draconian ideas about surveillance and privacy I just can't understand why they are so popular.

If you believe what you just wrote then the issue is that you don't really understand how polls work. An poll like that is not controlled in any way and easily manipulated by either side.

Common sense ought to tell you that the result is wrong/way off relative to other data you've been exposed to. Seriously think for a bit.

Do not insult other members-schizo

He's not a terrorist sympathiser. It was taken out of context because he wanted both sides to join in talks/negotiations and said something a long the lines of friends come together.

You should judge people on recent activity not crap that happened years ago which is completely irrelevant to now.

If my friends and family judged me on stuff I did many years ago I'd be a seen as a psychopath.

Quite. This happens every election. Listen to real polls not ones that give results you like.

All that says is it's an open poll where anyone can vote, from any background and class free from manipulation unlike most polls that select certain areas to benefit their point of view.
This show obviously doesn't want Corbyn winning as they've said many times they don't think he's upto it, but hey that's what their viewers voted.

I think this election is going to be very close and most polls can't be taken seriously. Examples would be brexit and trump.
