Red Dead Redemption 2 might be proper advantage for XOX. If Rockstar is going to follow their previous strategy, PC version over a year later, the best experience will be on Xbox till then.

What does BF1 run at on Xbone S? 720p or 900p?
If it's 900p then it could possibly get to native 4K. MS said some games at 900p might get to 4K and all 1080p games will. If they are patched. Not just out of the box. Think it runs at 1440p on PS4 Pro.

xbox x is really pointless for any PC gamer in reality.

Especially when the likes of Forza are coming on the PC and will still look and play better depending your PC Hardware

Correct, not aimed at people with £1000+ PC setups. but your still buying games from them anyway

yea . i have a 6 core i7 with 32gb RAM and two 980GTX IN SLI mode that still runs well today.

I think if u did not own any PC then a xbox x is a perfect budget PC gaming machine

Yep pc weirdos can stay away and carry on benchmarking their latest and greatest GPU that's 200 times more powerful than any console but games still run like crap as it's poorly optimised so completely pointless.....

for me i'm running Mac with only 16GB ram

this console works with my setup, i have a reliable computer

and great gaming machine (console)

with huge screen

What about monthly membership and more expensive games?

As for expense.
Gpu (£250), mobo, CPU, RAM (£150) PSU, case and hdd? (£100-120) Can get OS for £10.

Which totals around £500-550.

Now like I said the Scorpio IS decent value. I didn't doubt that.

Erm..I would VERY much like to see the tower only ( which is a huge liberty to remove from expenses), at those prices for components thats built to the same spec and close to the finished form factor.
And Live is what..about £30 a year shopping around, so you can even have 5 years of that and Add £150 to that budget.

true, but xbox x not just about running at higher resolution, it will have faster Ram and 9GB to play with

TBF, I had no issues with that game on launch once I used kaldiens's fix/tweak tool but yeah terrible release but then again, it was to be expected since they handed the PC port to a **** unqualified studio.

Don't they take BF1 from PC and turn settings on/off to make sure everything runs? Not going to use PS4 Pro to work out correct settings for xbox x?

i can't see how PS4 Pro going to hold back anything on xbox x

Well I have a crappy 8 year old laptop which is pretty much an mp3 box so I am excited for this at £450. Will pre-order tomorrow when they are up (Amazon probably).
