Finally got a chicken dinner after around 20 hours on the game, it was an amazing battle. :D

I have a GTX 1080 with an i5 4670k @ 4.3ghz. I play the game on the lowest settings and barely hit 120 frames.

Im sitting with getting around 40 - 50 fps on a 290x lol (Until Monday ;))
 
Purchased this last night, took a few sessions before I got the hang of things but finding it great fun.

Considering its still in Alpha, I am impressed.
 
it is great and frustrating sometimes.had a game earlier had 6 kills was going nicely had to go over bridge it was outside of the circle so anything on there was dying and just one random bloke camped in the cars half way along one tapped me :p wasnt happy and he must have probably died from the wave anyway.:(

Never, ever, ever cross bridges to get into the zone, this is the oldest trick in the book.

He probably survived as he was waiting for people to do this and had an escape plan, seen it done loads of times.

Aye, unless you're in a vehicle (and know how to drive!) bridges are a choke point. The guy waiting on the middle between cars probably had one sitting waiting for him to bail to. Been there done that!!

The 2 bridges to the military island are a perfect example. You don't even have to wait on them. There's enough high ground that you can overlook them and pop folks as they cross with ease.

I did exactly this like 5 mins ago. You learn the hard way.

EDIT: I mean crossed the bridge when someone was waiting for me.

Got so close to my first solo win yesterday, just me and one other player so we spent a good minute and a half until I just lost sight of him in the last moment.
Really fun game though, managed to have the circle on me for the entire game so I just had to sit and pick people off as they approached the area... it got very tense when it was down to three as I had one either side of me and had to keep spinning the camera like a mad man to track them both.
 
Finally managed to win my first game on solo on the EU server yesterday. Was sweating by the end of it lol

Might try a squad game tonight, as I haven't tried that game type yet. I'd rather jump in with fellow ocuk'ers as I don't fancy joining randomers who will probably shoot me for my loot!

I've joined the ocuk discord (as MoistGremlin) do I just join one of the 4 man rooms?
