*** Nintendo Switch ***

I was contemplating buying a US copy of the binding of Isaac. I'd heard the switch is region free so I take it there's no issue buying US games to run on a UK switch console?

That a joke haha. That is like what a 5 minute walk?

Though i suppose i have something similar. A huge DPD/RM/PARCELFORCE depot within 5 minutes. Am i allowed to collect from any of them? DM is the only one and even then it's hit and miss with who is on the desk.

For a laugh I tried to track the delivery :D

But the website is all Spanish and I couldn't do it :(

It isn't out in the UK yet. And yes the US digital version works fine. I've been playing it for months.

Edit - or did you mean physical? Then I don't know.

Ah i see i didn't know it wasn't out in UK yet :).

Tried to track it. You should have literally followed it and filmed the journey.

I was going to buy a physical copy 2nd hand as it's not our for another month. I'm not sure I like the idea of faffing about creating a US Nintendo account.

Has anyone tried a US cartridge in their UK switch?

The Switch is entirely region free. Any cartridge will work from anywhere also eshop purchases from other regions will work.

You don't need proof of purchase as the console was launched less than a year ago.

If you try to submit the issue via the Nintendo service website you will need proof of purchase. I don't have that anymore because I am careless, so I will have to phone and try sort it out there, hopefully bypassing the silly proof for something that has to be in warranty

I emailed them directly and never filled out any forms.

Did you pay cash?

Was listening to the Waypoint radio podcast today and they were under the impression sonic mania had just been delayed again until September? I can't see any trace of this online, date still seems set for August

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but I'm pretty excited that RE:R 1 and 2 are coming to the switch (if it hasn't been mentioned) Day one purchase for me, along with Skyrim.
