FTTP on Demand - whos got it?

You can try ask isp for FTTPoD 330/30 quote but you will end up over thousand of pounds installation and distance charges plus over £300 monthly charges. Both are excluded vat. Good luck with that.

Here is quote from cerberusnetworks as it seem lots cheaper than fluidone who will be charged at £300 plus vat a month but cerberusnetworks only charged at £87.50 plus vat a month.
I was surprise I am on Band B distance based charge (between 200m and 399m NGA Aggregation Node.

cerberusnetworks told me it only charged for FTTP Pro 2 after activated with FTTPoD in this way. So, won't have to pay more than £300 plus vat service charges from other isp such as fluidone.

Thanks - I've just requested a quote by Cerbusnetworks.

NOTE: FTTP on Demand is subject to a contract term of 36 months and a minimum installation charge of £1,200.00 + VAT, subject to quotation.

Well Cerbus got in touch within 5 minutes of submitting a form and are able to email me a quote, just waiting on it now. Haven't heard from Fluid yet. I'm pretty tempted depending on the price, I'm a contractor so I could put it through my Ltd company.

More likely bt will reject cerbus order for any FTTPoD at £87.50 exc vat monthly service charge because BT wholesale will not accepted this because of FTTP pricing not FTTPoD. It's will get rejected once the order went through.

Up to £2k I could probably stomach and sub £100 a month, but not nearly £7k plus over £300 a month. Will wait and see what Cerbusnetworks come back with.

Cerbusnet will have your FTTPoD for £87.50 a month exc VAT but once the order go through to BT, it will rejected anyway because it only for FTTP pricing not FTTPoD because BT want £300 a month exc VAT for 3 years for FTTPoD.
