Person sat opposite me watched it last night, told them not to tell me anything, whether good or bad. They start making comparisons to other episodes/movies, I keep jokingly saying shhhh. They carry on to me eventually saying out quite loudly "I don't bloody care".

end bells gonna bell

This is exactly why colleagues AREN'T friends. Everyone has that same sort of A-Hole in their workplace..don't they?

Why would you do this? Just record it and watch it when you get up or before work or whatever.

I have kids so would have to get up ridiculously early so it wouldn't make much difference.

Well yeah you don't see everything but you know huge plot points and surprises. Will put what I'm talking about in spoiler tags.

Luckily I work with decent folk who won't spoil it for each other and have the discipline to avoid social media when waiting to watch. Will miss episode 6 for a week as I'm on Holiday but I will just avoid spoilers.

It's easy if you have an ounce of sense, that being said why people feel the need to spoil is pathetic, reflects a lot on them.

Episode 5 was weird, extremely long without much happening. Amusing seeing those (not necessarily in this thread) who have been whinging about it going too fast now screaming about it being too slow.

I agree Sky should just release on demand early as it isn't fair on everybody
I thought this was a good idea, but what about if HBO/Sky actually refuse to air the next/last episode for another month and blame the leakers completely. Push public opinion against the hackers. Just say "we're not airing it until the hackers apologise". lol everyone would go nuts.

I guess I'm fortunate in that I work in the industry and therefore anybody talking about pirating content would be kicked out of the door faster than you can say "You know nothing, Jon Snow". And I don't know cheapskate a-holes on FB either so my only source of potential spoilers would be mainstream press if they're stupid enough to talk about it. Youtube? Who watches YT?:p

I wish people would stop even posting what they thought of it until after its aired here.

Are some of you physically incapable of controlling yourselves, or is it a mental issue?

How about you just don't come into the Official GOT thread, or is it a mental issue?

Because this is a discussion thread for the show after it has aired in the U.K. The ones who shouldn't come in are the ones who find impossible to not post about the pirated versions they have watched, which is strongly against forum rules and I think more action should be taken against people who are saying what they thought of it. It's really not hard to keep discussion up to episode six is it?

I think any posts from people regarding episode 7 content or how good it is should be deleted.

Also, i never come in on mondays as I known it airs Sunday evening, but your post suggests that I should never enter the thread until the entire season has aired, which is ridiculous.

I agree. I've watched it and won't give a single impression/reaction/thought until it's officially aired. It's not hard.

Your response is ridiculous to be honest. People come in here to discuss the current, legally aired UK episode. Being told to avoid this whole thread because those that have acquired it by other means want to post stuff about it in here isn't on to be honest. And as has been said, it is against the rules to do this. You can't be expected to ignore an entire thread dedicated to current discussion. What a silly response!

I loved the episode, a lot of emotion in certain scenes and had my feels in overdrive.

No idea. I didn't notice either and really annoyed me going in to episode 6 when he said it. I rewatched the preview a minute ago and didn't see it. Unless it was a different preview? Maybe they editted it out? Going to remove it from my spoiler tags incase
It was NOT in the official episode 6 preview. Whoever said that probably watched the leaked version and told people about it and pretended it was in the preview or that it was their own theory/idea.

eg: posts like this are more than a little supicious... https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/31062050/

FB has turned into a look at me I've watched the leaked episode and I'll say just enough so you can work out what's happened without me 100% saying it, staying off FB until Monday hardly go on anyway.

:p fair enough.
..but you know people aren't probably going to comment on specifics - they might say wow/incredible/rubbish. It doesn't give anything away, you're obviously going to enjoy the episode, you wouldn't have watched to season 7 otherwise.
At least we're not as bad this person...
They carry on to me eventually saying out quite loudly "I don't bloody care".
