You want to strike fear into your enemy. What better way to do it than nailing the hardest one? :p

But seriously it didn't make much sense. Unless that the NK is a greenseer as implied and has seen the future, so targeted that specific one.

Good episode, very entertaining although we pretty much guessed what would happen as soon as they made it to the lake - no surprises this time around but let's hope for a few 'oooos' and 'ahhhhhs' next time! :)

so at leased we have a pretty good idea why they can't just walk round the wall
ok we know the arisen can walk under the water we saw that when they broke thew the ice BUT the WW went know were near the ice/water. and the NK even had the dragon dragged out of the water to raise it. it is my theory the the WW body are well below the freezing point of water and they are scared of of water for if they come on contact with it they become big ice cube's and the reason the undead don't walk round it is that they have to be within a range of the WW for the WW to control them

Wife gave a small cheer when the dragons turned up, said thats the first time in the entire series something good happened. :p Even though it was cheesy/obvious/blatantly bad timeline.

Great episode with some amusing dialogue.

The NK must have some ability to see into the future. The trap he laid to lure dragons could only be explained by that.
