Every time I mention shovel knight I get positive responses as above, I really don't know why I don't just go for it!

I'm on the fence about rabbids.. because of the rabbids mainly. Reviews out on 28th

Pick up both. Shovel knight is a modern day classic and easily as god ,if not better, than the games it was inspired by from yesteryear.

As for Mario vs Rabbits, I hate those rabbits but pretty much every reviewer I rate, really loves it and it sounds like a great little take on Xcom.

Does anyone know if I apply a 15 Euro eshop gift card to my English account, which shows game prices in Pounds Sterling what will happen?

Likewise, I'm not sure about Mario mixed with rabbids. I like turn based strategy though so I'll probably give it a try at some point. Maybe one I'll pick up on sale or 2nd hand later in the year.

What hurts it for me is that xcom 2 : war of the chosen expansion is out the same week as kingdom battle and I think most turn based strategy fans with a pc and a switch (like myself) will probably opt for the xcom game. Wonder if that'll impact sales?

Shovel knight is good but I wasn't hooked into playing all the DLC back to back. Spectre of Torment is deffo the better DLC of the bunch (perhaps better than the original game) but I didn't finish it due to 'Shovel Knight fatigue'.

I thought Cave Story was better than Shovel Knight.

I'm not sure if this is a new thing or not but when I bought mania I was allowed to pay the exact price, I seem to remember that not being an option when I first bought the switch.

It put me off buying items for a while.

I think it's always been like that on the Switch.

For the Euro gift card you can change your region, buy a game with the card + paying the remainder with your bank card and then swap your region back. Then it is as if you bought the game from the UK store. I did this (minus the gift card) to get Sonic Mania for £9.

Always better to pay directly via bank card whenever possible, saves all the hassle. Unless its crap currency conversion.

Mario + Rabbids is down to £41.99 on the Rainforest atm and with Prime plus the promotion they're running at the moment can be had for £34.99, not sure about it but tempted at that price.

Hi all,

Probably been asked in 1 of the pages but do you online purchases stay with your Nintendo account like PSN? I took a faulty 2ds back and lost £50 in store credit as my account didn't store my purchases, in fact it wouldn't even let me put my credentials in.

Cheers

Mario Rabbids is absolutely gorgeous. The first world was quite easy but the difficulty ramps up quite well after the first few battles, lots of items and a level up skill tree as well.

Brilliant so far!
