I'm just starting my first playthru chaps. Any tips? class advice?
You'll probably end up doing all three classes eventually so pick one.
I liked my play through with my Titan but haven't tried anything else as yet. Don't buy anything, you should get enough gear to do you through drops.

My number one tip is this- Always join other people in the group events. Lots of stuff to collect, and the events are short. Also if you come across peeps just finishing an event, no need to take part, but you can collect the loot box when it drops.
Do all the side missions and level up to make the story missions easier. This is not a very hard game if you're decent at cover and shoot tactics. Have fun.

There's only 1 space left and I'm pretty sure someone left with the intention of joining again.
Need to find a way to do a roll call and see who is actually active or not
agree, but I also think we need to have a requirement to join OCUK discord as well. Communication is key in raids so we all need to be on there (link in sig)
Agreed. There's maybe 8 people who regularly join the discord. You don't need to talk, but do listen.
Also getting royally P'd off with the constant 265 drops, even when doing Heroic Public events.

Just joined! I usually play in a private discord with a few friends (mostly as we just wind eachother up) but when doing clan stuff I'll always be in the OCUK one.
Yeah, I now only level up from the clan engrams or 'powerful' engrams when doing challenges. it's annoying

Did they fix the performance issue with being in clan on EU servers ? I've tried to be active but it's depressing on the NA servers and nobody being online

Got HDR working, was just windows out of date
Looks glorious and I'm really enjoying playing with a pad!
Surprised how well my system play a this at 4k. Obviously made some cutbacks to try and get a solid frame rate. I did try 1440p on my tv but it just looked washed out unfortunately not that it's that bad though (my pc monitor is native 1440p and looks great there)
May try dipping the resolution scale down a bit? Not really clued up on all this stuff

Beginning to fall a bit out of love as it seems there's this huge hump at around 265-270 that's very difficult to get over. Guess I'll have to try the raid and work on those milestones but it means going into the Crucible for one of them and I really don't want to.
Got flawless Trials done today! Was so epic! Almost power level 300 on warlock, 295 on titan and hunter.
Still need to finish the raids, hopefully tomorrows boss checkpoint goes well.
EDIT: If you feel you are stuck, level another character. Its more efficient than farming the same stuff during the week (after weekly powerfuls) in the hope of exotics for infusing.
